Vietnamka in Warsaw is a solid stop if you’re in the mood for Vietnamese food done with some care, though with a few ups and downs. We started with the crunchy pork rolls – nice in flavor and texture, though not perfect, missing a touch of refinement in the balance. The chicken with rice was straightforward, safe and reliable, the kind of dish that fills the spot but doesn’t surprise. Things got more interesting with the pho, served with raw beef – aromatic, light, and quite close to the proper authentic pho that I love, with a broth that actually carried depth and freshness rather than being a flat imitation. It’s clear they pay attention here, and for Warsaw, this is a commendable version.

The standout for me was the banh da cua (here on the menu as banh da hua) – a traditional noodle soup from Hai Phong, made with wide red rice noodles, a crab-based broth, and often topped with bits of pork, shrimp, morning glory, and herbs. The broth should be slightly sweet from the crab, deeply savory, and full of character, and here it came through nicely, with a tasty crab stock that felt both comforting and distinct. It’s not a common dish to see outside of northern Vietnam, and it was a pleasure to have it here, prepared with respect to tradition.

Overall, Vietnamka delivers a menu that feels both approachable and authentic enough to satisfy someone who knows Vietnamese food. The space is casual, service friendly, and while not every dish was flawless, the highlights – especially the soups – make it well...

As a self-proclaimed food enthusiast from Hong Kong, I have always been skeptical about Asian cuisine outside of Asia. However, my dining experience at Vietnamka has completely revolutionized my long-held beliefs. Having left home for over a month, I found myself missing the rich and comforting flavors of Vietnamese Pho, particularly on chilly winter days. As luck would have it, I stumbled upon Vietnamka during a long flight transfer in the heart of Warsaw, amidst several other dining options.

Vietnamka's cozy and modern interior design immediately caught my attention, with its cool decor adding to the ambiance. Although their opening hours were from 12 to 10, I couldn't help but wonder if the kitchen had already started preparing their rich beef soup from the early hours of the morning. It was clear that the food was prepared with utmost care, as the friendly waiters brought out the hot soup right in front of us, creating a perfect balance of taste and temperature that elevated the Pho to an exceptional level. In fact, I dare say that it was the best Pho I have ever tasted in Europe, surpassing even the quality of those served in Asia.

The service at Vietnamka was nothing short of wonderful, with the staff displaying an unparalleled level of hospitality. I would highly recommend Vietnamka to everyone, especially to fellow Asians who crave the flavors of home. All in all, my experience at Vietnamka was a delightful surprise, and I am already looking forward to my...

I had an absolutely incredible dining experience at Vietnamka! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with an authentic touch that transported me straight to Vietnam.

But what truly made my visit unforgettable was the exceptional service from my server, Vinh. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made fantastic recommendations. His friendly attitude and genuine passion for hospitality elevated the entire experience.

The food? Absolutely outstanding! Every dish was bursting with flavor, fresh ingredients, and the perfect balance of spices. From the rich and aromatic pho to the perfectly crispy spring rolls, each bite was a delight. The presentation was beautiful, and you could taste the care put into every dish.

Vietnamka is now my go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Whether you’re a fan of traditional Vietnamese flavors or trying them for the first time, this place will not disappoint. I highly recommend it—and if you’re lucky, ask for Vinh for a truly top-tier dining experience!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly...

Best Vietnamese food I have ever tried anywhere in the world! The food is fresh and delicious, I could feel my body dancing with happiness as I ate. The attention to service and quality of human interaction with my server Anh was amazing. Always serving with a smile and he recommended what I should eat, as I do not eat at Vietnamese restaurants very much. I had a wonderful seat in front of the bar in a closed balcony overlooking the street. The server offered to bring more vegetables, steamed rice and sauce for me included in the price of my purchase. He also taught me how the food should be enjoyed and eaten. I recommend when you go that you as for Anh by name. He has a great disposition and is always smiling. I was transported to Vietnam during my visit. I loved it and will always come back, even with friends. Anh also speaks perfect English which made my visit even better as I don't speak Vietnamese or Polish. Thanks Anh for everything! Oh I almost forgot, the lemon grass tea with orange and mint was AMAZING!!!!
