Super expensive restaurant with no authentic dishes.
We ordered Pneer makhni with Tandoori roti, vegetable pulao and mango lassi.
Paneer Makhni - Very less quantity, costed 48 zł and the gravy was just average. Even a below average restaurant in North or Central India will serve way better than this.
Tandoori Roti - They didn't even bother to put butter on them neither with the roti which comes with Paneer Makhni nor with the additional ones.
Vegetable Pulao - Ok, so the rice came from the refrigerator, heated on a pan with some vegetables and came to the table even with no garnishing. We could taste the hardness in rice which were telling us again and again that hey we just came out of the fridge for you :)
Mango Lassi - Expensive than other Indian restaurants and consistency is reduced a lot since our last visit.
Service - It was good but not the best, average service.
I couldn't find a reason for paying so much for average taste, quality and quantity when you can get those in almost 2/3 price in other Indian restaurants except a good seating arrangement and service.
Overall not...
Read moreI live in the neighborhood and have Indian food daily from a few Indian restaurants nearby + Uber eats.
I tried Bombay masala first time yesterday, it seems high end so I was saving it for a special time.
I didn’t like the food at all unfortunately. Malai chicken had no taste, it was basically grilled chicken. The raita did not go with it.
My friends had butter chicken / tikka masala. I had a bit of it. The chicken was stale and j fresh and the sauce was just okay (nothing special). Restaurant made it again for us but same issue.
One waitress was nice and kind, the other one just looked mad.
Hopefully the restaurant was just having a bad day after new years, but leaving this review because they can be just so much better.
I may try the biryani and give it another chance some day. I’ll update the review...
Read moreWhen I was visiting Warsaw for the first time I was staying at a hotel right across the street and got into town right around dinner time. I’m a big fan of Indian food so when I saw this well rated place right nearby I decided to give it a try for dinner. I ordered chicken tikka masala with naan and rice. Before the meal came they brought out an appetizer which was quite good and a nice snack while waiting since I was very hungry. However when the main meal came out I found the chicken tikka masala to be quite underwhelming. It didn’t have much spice to it and the flavor was lacking as well. While it wasn’t bad, I’ve been to many other Indian restaurants that are much better. The naan was delicious though, unfortunately the main course was a let down which is why I have to only give...
