REVIEW — Polish Meat Restaurant (Industrial Meets Viking Style)
From the moment you step in, the place hits you with raw power: concrete walls, matte black steel beams, heavy wooden tables, and fur throws draped over benches. It feels like a Viking feast hall redesigned by a post-apocalyptic architect — wild, primal, but stylish as hell.
The menu is all about meat, and I mean real meat: slow-smoked pork ribs with a bold, woody aroma, thick handmade kielbasa with coarse mustard and tangy house-fermented sauerkraut… Every dish feels like it was cooked over fire, with sweat and glory, but still plated with care and pride.
I tried the beef tartare with raw egg yolk and punchy spices — a dish that growls and whispers at the same time. It’s earthy, rich, and unforgettable.
And let’s talk about the beer… oh my gods. Local, strong, and served in chunky mugs that could survive a tavern brawl. I had an amber brew with hints of honey and roasted malt — a bitter kiss that lingers just right after every bite.
The service? Quick, no-nonsense, and with a kind of gritty charm that fits the theme perfectly.
Highly recommended for those craving an intense, flavorful, raw-but-refined experience. Bring real friends, come hungry, and unleash your inner...
Read moreTldr Great beer and food, beautiful location but poor service
Staff: the staff here offer a basic service however you might find it a bit difficult to catch their attention if they are busy, I am not sure if they have enough waiters since we didn't have more than 1 mid meal checkup from the waiter
Location: Located in walking distance from the Crown Plaza, you can bring your business team here for a pleasant evening
Food and drink: ++ What makes this location special is that they brew the beer on site and it is really good! The caramelized beef ribs were delicious
Time: The food was delivered in a reasonable time
What would be required for 5 stars: Perhaps more attention given to customers and to focus on the customer service aspect. The location and design is unique and special but I can't give a full score based on the lack of attention that was given from beginning to end. Normally I would mark that as a 3 star experience but we can take into account that the place was full. Solution offered: hire more waiters with experience
Edit: after seeing that the other reviews all mention staffing issues, I am lowering this from a 4 stars to 3 stars since this experience was not an...
Read moreNormally, I'm not difficult to satisfy at all, however a few days ago me and 2 of my friends visited this place and the service was very poor - we were not delivered what we ordered despite confirming it to the waiter - one of us got large beer instead of small, and I got sparkling water instead of mineral. Of course, this is a brewery so we shouldn't be talking about water whatsoever, however we walked to the place for like 6km and I wanted to drink some water before tasting 4 or 5 of their beers. And here comes the biggest disappointment, everything described in the above lines wouldn't have been an issue as long as the beer was good, but unfortunately, it tasted awful. And the biggest surprise came when we were given the bill - it turned out that this sparkling water costs more than their beer (15 vs 14 PLN)....The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because the atmosphere in this place was nice and the waiter quickly found us a table. Anyway, I believe everyone deserves a second chance so hopefully, I'll be back in Warsaw next year and I'll visit this place again and taste a...
