Olivos Restaurant — Restaurant in Warsaw

I recently visited this restaurant with a group of over 20 people, drawn in by the promise of delicious food, good service, and the appealing interior. In these aspects, the restaurant did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the service from the waiters was commendable, and the ability to book a table for a larger group was a significant convenience. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when it came time to settle the bill.

Upon reviewing the bill, we noticed we were charged for more people than was agreed beforehand. Naturally, we sought clarification from the waiter, which is when the situation escalated unnecessarily. The owner intervened, not to assist, but to reprimand the waiter in front of us, stating that we are not the only customers in the restaurant and that the waiter should take care of other customers instead. This response was shocking, as it implied our spend which amounted to a bill of over 1000 EUR, was not valued.

I decided to address this directly with the owner, seeking an explanation for his apparent disregard for my patronage. The conversation that ensued was even more disheartening. The owner's behavior was outright rude, culminating in him telling us, "if you don’t like our system, then don’t come back."

Such behavior from the owner is not only unacceptable but also disrespectful to customers who have chosen to spend their time and money at this restaurant. It's a shame that the positive aspects of our visit were overshadowed by this negative experience. 

Writing this review was not my initial intention, but I believe it's essential to share our experience to inform potential future customers. Customer service, especially from the management, is as crucial as the quality of the food and the ambiance, and on this front, the restaurant...

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say—it truly feels like a little piece of Greece in our city! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional.

The food? Absolutely amazing! Fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and perfectly balanced seasoning. Gyros was tender and flavorful. Their Greek salad was fresh and full of flavor, with the perfect combination of feta, olives, and crisp vegetables.

I was also pleasantly surprised by their pizza—it had a thin, crispy crust and delicious toppings that made it one of the best I’ve had. The selection of Greek wines perfectly complemented the meal, and the desserts were the perfect finishing touch.

The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for such high-quality food. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves...

We have been for a business lunch with my team. The food is excellent. The rate quality / price in my opinion is worth it. The grilled octopus is the best I had in a while and also my friends liked the dish they had. The only small thing I have to say is about the service: we were 6 people and we were not served at the same time, my colleague ordered mussaka and she was served when we had our second dish already.
