Boys Meat Girls — Restaurant in Warsaw

My partner's filet mignon steak was ok, although her mushroom porridge tasted strange. My Bandito certainly left me feeling robbed. Only 20% (maximum!) was edible. Everything else was bone, fat, chrąstka, or else a combination of them. A genuinely awful piece of meat, and probably the worst steak I have ever had in my long life. How any trained chef could let this out of their kitchen beats me. The 'special dressing' on the sweet potato chips seemed to consist of mixed sugar and salt granules. The corn was pureed and was nothing special. The mixed salad was good, although the dressing was a bit slimy. The house red wine was obviously cheap and not good. When I complained about my steak the manager adjusted the bill, but I would rather have had a good steak and enjoyed my meal. I am genuinely not a person who complains a lot, and I expect to pay for what I get. Considering that it's not cheap, and it's supposed to be a steak house, it's not unreasonable to expect the steak to be edible. Maybe the burgers are better, but I doubt it. I went here on fourth of July and waited about an hour for apps and another hour for the food. I know this was a "holiday" but I have it from reliable sources that even on a weekdays the wait times are too long. My burger was under cooked, I was running late anyways from the two hours waiting, so I didn't complain. The server also didn't seem to know where he was, bringing drinks to one person and then almost 20 mins later bringing the other drinks. On top of this to say "sorry". They brought us to small ears of corn from the grill, we had 8 people... So even if we split the corn into halves we would only have enough for half of our party.

Then there was the typical service I've come to expect in Poland, everyone received their entrees at separate times with upwords of 5-10 mins between, so that people who were already hungry when coming to the establishment and having had to wait two hours, now get to enjoy watching others eat first, or they could be polite and wait for their food to get cold. Looked great from menu and outside but really let down by the service....Iwona (name on the receipt ) seemed to be the manager but was so laid back in her tracksuit bottoms, visiting regularly while waiting for an order, we then had to visit the counter twice to get mayonnaise ( later charged for) and different beers as the unknown one on the menu that she said was like Zywiec, was not at all. Then they took a plate without asking if we’d finished, took the second one when we said we’d finished and didn’t offer any menu for desserts, 10 mins later at 22.11 she said the kitchen was closed when we asked about desserts.
