CHARLIE BAR — Restaurant in Warsaw

I have not seen the worst organization of an event for which they took a large amount of money. I bought a ticket for an event in this club, which was actively advertised in the Erochain Expo 2025 newsletter and from the stage on the first day of the exhibition. The ticket cost almost 140 PLN for a visit to Charlie's club, where it was promised that there would be an unforgettable “Exclusive BSM Night - for Erochain Expo attendees only!” The program stated Show, meeting with famous people in this subject and obligatory dress code. In reality, we were waiting for a room not designed for the number of people who gathered in it, because it was crowded just to stand. And to dance, you just had to stomp in one place, so as not to catch someone accidentally next to you. Those who came dressed according to the dress code, felt uncomfortable, because instead of dress code, most of the men just walked half-naked in shorts or jeans. But the most disappointing thing was that instead of the promised show, all participants were held from 21:30 to 00:00 just without any promised activities and then in a small room at the bar showed amateur improvisation for less than 10 minutes. Most of the visitors could not see the "show", because of the large number of people gathered and the poor organization of the venue - only those who stood directly in front of the speakers could see something. The “show” in the form of amateur improvisation, for which you paid almost 140 PLN, ended in less than 10 minutes, and then most of the visitors, disappointed, just started to leave. It is a fraud, because instead of organizing the event they took money for what people were promised: an exclusive show, dress code, and themed party in the style of BSM. I do not recommend this club as it does not respect its visitors and charges a lot of money for something it cannot provide due to small spaces and disreputable...

I do not recommend it, the club cooperates with unscrupulous organizers who take money for the show and do not organize anything We came with my wife from another country to the exhibition and went to the after-party in this club, which was very advertised by the organizers of the exhibition. It cost 139 PLN per person and 278 PLN for two people. For this money we got nothing but the feeling that we were cheated. Instead of the promised exclusive themed program was the usual not the most comfortable club for several small rooms in which it was cramped from the number of people with the usual music bar and drinks. Around 12:00 at night most of the people gathered in the center room and then something started to happen, but because of the large number of people we couldn't see anything. And after 5 minutes, it was suddenly over and everyone started to leave the club. We asked the barman when the promised show would be. He said that he didn't know about any show, and only this performance, which took about 5 minutes, was in the program tonight. It felt like you were just cheated by promising a show and charging money for it, but instead they just packed everyone into a regular club with music and alcohol. CHARLIE BAR is definitely a nice gem in Warsaw! Tucked away inside an old building, it has a bit of a speakeasy feel, which adds to the charm. The interior is stylish and inviting, setting the stage for a high-end cocktail experience.

The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We had a Whisky Sour and an Espresso Martini, and both were well-crafted and delicious.

However, there’s one thing we feel could be improved—the music. While we totally understand that the venue has a dancefloor for later in the night, at around 9 PM, when the bar was still relatively empty, the music felt too club-oriented. House music is always a great choice, but at that time of the evening, a more laid-back tempo would better match the elegant cocktail bar atmosphere. It’s all about building the vibe gradually rather than jumping straight into an energetic club sound.

That said, CHARLIE BAR is a a really nice place, and we’d still recommend it for anyone looking for great drinks in a stylish setting. Just a small tweak in the music selection earlier in the evening would make the experience...
