Gatsby Warsaw - Event Space — Restaurant in Warsaw

We arrived here with a group of expats last Friday. I didn’t care much about the atmosphere since I was with my friends, and we were having fun. However, when we went to the bar to order some drinks, the bartender completely ignored us. His expressions were off upon seeing us (my friend is Asian, and I’m clearly not European-looking). I gave the benefit of the doubt, thinking he’s busy, but three people came after us, and he kept ignoring us.

He needs to be trained to work in the service industry. He may be racist in his own group settings, but that shouldn’t extend to publicly serving as a bartender.

I went on a Tuesday to a private party organized by the university, so the tickets to get in were only 30zl and then the price in the bar was good the corona was 16zl peer good price and then the vodka shots I do not recall exactly but cheap. The place is big with pretty cool views for the river and the stadium Narodowy. But to go to the bathroom you have to go 4 floors down, there is an elevator but if you don't have perfect timing you will wait for 10 minutes. And the music wasn't my favourite, not techno but not pop, I felt like a couldn't...

We arrived to try the place out with an invitation and free drink. Despite it being 7pm with only 3-4 other customers, and outlining that we were only staying for a couple of drinks, we were ushered to the back of the terrace where there was no ambience. This was only after having to go to the bar to order our drinks ourselves. The dozen or so staff standing around clearly too busy to wait on us… Unfortunately this felt like a typical style over substance location, but lacks the class to make up for the shortfalls. Wishing the place good...
