Prime Cut, a hidden gem nestled near the Vistula River within the historic confines of an old electric plant, is an enchanting dining destination that promises an exceptional culinary experience. From the moment I stepped foot into this charming establishment, I knew I was in for a treat.
The restaurant's location in the old electric plant lends a unique and captivating atmosphere, combining industrial aesthetics with modern elegance. The ambiance is thoughtfully designed, with dimmed lighting and tasteful decor that creates a cozy and inviting environment. The picturesque views of the Vistula River added an extra touch of magic to the dining experience.
My experience at Prime Cut was elevated by the impeccable service provided by Wojtek, my attentive and friendly waiter. From guiding me through the menu to suggesting the perfect wine pairings, Wojtek's expertise and warm demeanor made me feel like valued guest. He was knowledgeable about the dishes and their preparation, further enhancing my dining pleasure.
The culinary offerings at Prime Cut were nothing short of exceptional. I started with the zucchini pancakes, a delectable appetizer that was both light and flavorful. The crispy texture and delightful seasoning of the pancakes were a perfect way to whet my appetite.
Next came the star of the show - the roast beef. Cooked to perfection, the meat was tender, succulent, and bursting with rich flavors. It was served with an array of complementary sides that further elevated the dish. Each bite was a delightful journey of taste and texture, leaving me wanting more.
To cap off this culinary journey, I indulged in the white chocolate mousse with raspberry for dessert. The dessert was a divine symphony of sweet and tangy flavors, and the presentation was nothing short of a work of art. It was the perfect ending to a delightful meal.
Prime Cut has proven itself to be a haven for food enthusiasts seeking a memorable gastronomic adventure. The combination of exceptional food, splendid ambiance, and attentive service sets this restaurant apart as one of the finest dining establishments I have visited.
I highly recommend Prime Cut to anyone visiting the area or looking for a remarkable dining experience. The restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence and charming charm creates an unforgettable experience that will leave a lasting impression on your taste buds and your heart. I can't wait to return and explore more culinary wonders...
Read moreI visited this restaurant for my birthday dinner, expecting live music on Saturday as advertised — but there was none at all! While the steak quality wasn’t the best, it was acceptable given the lower prices compared to other restaurants. Overall, the dining experience was decent — until it came time to pay the bill, which completely ruined the evening.
To my surprise, checking out became a nightmare. I later read Google reviews and saw that many others had similar experiences. I’ve never been to a restaurant that made it so difficult to leave. We ended up waiting longer for the bill than we did for our entire three-course meal with drinks total costs PLN 700+
The staff member responsible for our table was nowhere to be found. We asked a lady with short hair for the bill — she said she’d bring it, then disappeared. We asked a younger woman, who also said she’d bring it, but nothing happened. Both had ignored us multiple times before even acknowledging our request.
After 35 minutes, the original waiter finally returned, bringing ginger shots “on the house” — but by then we were already frustrated. We had birthday plans afterwards, and wasting that much time just to pay and leave felt completely unreasonable.
Not an experience I’d...
Read moreBad customer service! We will definitely never come back to this place.
We were looking for a night out without kids - which is rare. We got a voucher (700PLN) from friends before moving to Warsaw from Germany mid last year. Unfortunately, the voucher already expired after 8months (we have never heard of this before & did not spend attention - as in Germany, it is common & written by law that vouchers are valid for at least 2years. And even if expired, it’s just ok to use them. The expiration date is written on the voucher - but instead of the short date format, eg 31.12.2024, it’s with the Polish month names - difficult to read for foreigners.)
When asking at the reception if we can still use it / we can find a compromise (eg just spend half the amount / get free drinks, …), the lady declined not very friendly. We left the restaurant without eating / drinking and spend a nice evening somewhere else. We tried it both in the city center & Powisle (second was way more friendly, but with the same result).
My husband has been to this place quite often with his company - and will definitely not come...
