This is one of the first restaurants that I ate at in Warsaw, at the time I didn't leave a review, I have eaten here a total of 3 times in as many months and have had an exceptional experience each and every time. For my first experience at Kuznia Smaku I ordered the Duck dinner, a perfectly cooked stove roasted honey duck served on beetroot with fried potato dumplings and a baked apple, this dish also comes with a delicious honey raspberry sauce that you can pour on top. I have enjoyed half a dozen duck dinners since I arrived in Warsaw a few months ago and this is by far my favorite!
My wife and I stopped in for lunch yesterday and enjoyed a typical set Polish lunch. The photos are from this lunch, it was a very nice bowl of soup, I cant remember the name of it but it had lots of veggies and small pieces of Pork, the flavors were very complex and layered with just the slightest bit of heat. The soup was followed by a plate of nicely cooked beef with a side of salad and potatoes. For dessert we shared a piece of apple cake with ice-cream. Each time we have visited we have received a small glass of home made cherry Vodka at the end of the meal. I believe the owners of the restaurant are of Jewish/Polish heritage and this is reflected in the decor, it is a very cozy comfortable space. The staff is always very friendly and speak English very well.

Read moreMy rating for this restaurant is 4.5 stars. We visited this restaurant during our last trip to Warsaw, but the main reason was… Robert Makłowicz recommendation. We want to check how tasty their dishes are. Because it was quite early and very hot outside we ordered only the main course, beer and wine. For the beginning we got “czekadełko” from the restaurant for free .I ordered Stove-roasted honey duck with wine apple, served on beetroot and raspberries and with fried potato dumplings. My girlfriend ordered Veal shank, spicy carrot and spinach Silesian dumplings. So… duck IS WORTH EVERY PENNY which you paid for it. It’s incredibly tasty, crunchy, juicy, amazing! Beetroot is taking you to heaven. Portion was very big. My fiance's food was OK. No good, no bad. But we think it wasn’t her style. With the waiter's suggestion we took a bottle of Cabernet Savignion Reserva 2019 from chile. Very good wine. Restaurant is very beautiful with music perfect for your dinner. Mr. Robert, who served our table, is a 5 star waiter. Highly...
Read moreGreat traditional polish restaurant! It’s a small old worldly restaurant on the most well known clubbing street in Warsaw.
We tried a variety of dishes and everything tasted amazing! I highly recommend the mix of pierogi, steak tartare, duck leg, and the beef tenderloin. Everything was cooked to perfection 😊
The service was also excellent, the waiter was so polite and attentive. Before dinner we received a complimentary pate dish and after dinner a complimentary shot of liquor to end our restaurant experience.
Location is key for visitors because after dinner you can pop out for a great night out! - all within 200m of the restaurant. I will definitely come back and make this a regular...
