Only reason why this is getting some stars is because of the food.

Came in at about 1pm, with a couple coming in 5 mins after me. Waited a while and signalled for the waiter but he didn’t come. When the waiter approached, he took the couple’s order and left even though I was right beside him. Had to prompt so many times until the couple helped me out. Took about 20mins until I managed to order my food. Food came in about 30mins after ordering.

When I was done, I signalled to the same guy to get the bill and he nodded. After that he was chatting with some customers (presumably his friends), I signalled for the bill again. He acknowledge but continued to talk to his friends. In the end the lady who first seated me helped to get my bill.

Overall, decent food but...

There are no proper words to describe how much we loved this place. The food is delicious and authentic, better than many other more expensive places, prices are unbeatable, the service is so fast and people working there are lovely. We went almost every day for a whole week, not only because it was amazing, but also because it's one of the few places open until late, that still accepts you and properly feeds you ahaha. Even at 1:30 in the night people greet you with smiles and energy and bring you delicious just made food. They also have an incredible selection of tasty cocktails and beer, and the vibe and atmosphere of the place is truly unique and interesting. Overall good experience. The bread we got for free was a bit dry. The tartare was nice. Not special, but still decent. The golonka was very tender and fell right of the bone. They knew how to prepare this meat! The things that complemented the dish: the mega amount of mustard, horse radish and pickle were a bit strange and did not really feel like they belonged here, but the sourkraut on the other hand was very good. The duck was a bit on the dry side. The sauce in this dish paired well with the red cabbage. The cheesecake was decent again, a bit dry maybe but we enjoyed it still. Waitress was friendly.
