In my scale 5 is excellent, 4 is good, 3 stars I bearable. So let me explain why it is just 3 stars.
The interior is quite typical for such places- it looks cheap, with light touch or Asian communism, and it works perfectly well!
However when it comes to food negligence is not allowed.
I have ordered soup Pho traditional. First of all it is really hard to communicate with the guy at the cash desk. Second, I have not seen the lost if allergences anywhere. When it comes to sizes of soup there are 2: small ( like small white bowl from Ikea) and big. The appearance of the small version might be a public-demand transformation, as originally there is just 1 type - just normal one:) which fits accordingly to Loving Hut big one. However the name of the size does not fit the content of it, as the amount of ingredients stays the same as in small one - the rest is broth, not very bad one, but still. There were no soya sprouts served aside, the rice pasta was tragically overcooked I hardly held together, there were none of traditional green herbs, instead just little of green cipolla. Peaces of tofu swimming lonely in that bowl were underdone. The only ingredients which tasted satisfyingly was beef.
May be there are adepts of this place who are happy to have something what calls itself traditional Pho. However my suggestion would be at least change the name - eliminating "traditional" from...
Read moreI can't believe how many 5 and 4 star reviews this place received.... the food is terrible! It's bland with very little seasoning . This place has so much more potential.. however unfortunately this place under delivers by miles ... the server was not friendly at all .. my boyfriend simply asked to use the washroom prior to ordering and was told we had to order and pay first. Even though we had already settled in. We are definitely NOT coming back here. Also the reason why the food looks half eaten is because we dumped half of his food into my very sour soup to try and give it some...
Read moreThe taste is good. The service is good. The atmosphere is good.
If you are still hesitating, don't and give it a try, yeaaaah!
Also, if you're not a pro at seasoning your soups, ask for a tip. I ordered a "Pho" and she adviced me to make it a bit spicy and add in a bit of garlic: it was just delicious.
And because i eat a lot, there is this, i don't know, this need of having a 2nd plate on my side :) The "happy noodles" did make me happy. The texture of the tofu is there again, well seasoned along with the vegetables, just waiting for...
