The food was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately the service completely ruined the experience for us. That said, I don’t like writing reviews when I’m upset, but I don’t want to forget any detail… When we placed the order, we carefully pointed to each dish on the menu (which was in English and Polish)showing to her and clearly indicating what we wanted. One of the dishes we chose was a duck salad, and another was a potato pancake. The waitress asked if we wanted those two as main dishes, and to avoid any confusion (she didn’t sound very fluent) I confirmed again: “Yes, the duck salad and the potato pancake as mains, to come after the starters.” Despite this, when the mains arrived, they brought us a main duck dish instead of the duck salad. I asked the waitress about it because we were very confused when she brought the food since that clearly wasn’t what we asked for, but instead of explaining or fixing the issue, she simply walked away. Then another waiter came over and insisted that we had confirmed the order — basically blaming us for their mistake. This was not a misunderstanding. We were absolutely clear, we showed her the menu, we pointed at the dishes, and we even repeated them to confirm. Even our daughter, after finishing the last plate, asked where the salad was... Still, they refused to change the dish or offer any kind of solution. The waitress never spoke to us again and left everything to another waiter, whose attitude was blunt and dismissive. He insisted that we had confirmed the order, treating us as if it were impossible that the mistake was on their side — as though two adults and even our daughter were all wrong. We felt disrespected and ignored, and couldn’t help but wonder if it was because we were foreigners. As someone who worked in hospitality for over 15 years, I can say this is not how you treat customers. What should have been a lovely dinner became a very unpleasant experience. It’s a shame, because we truly enjoy discovering new food when we travel, and we had chosen this place with great expectations. ‼️‼️‼️update: After reading the restaurant’s response to my review, I stand by my rating even more firmly — and would give zero stars if that were possible. We immediately pointed out the mistake with the dish. The waitress left, and then a very rude waiter came over, speaking to us clearly in English, saying that his colleague had told him we had confirmed the dish. He clung to that version, even though he had not been present at all when we chose our meals. I find it astonishing that they now have the nerve to claim we refused to...
Read moreNestled in one of Warsaw's coolest neighborhoods, Prodiz Warszawski offers a sublime culinary experience that seamlessly blends seasonal and regional Polish cuisine. Opting to dine al fresco, we enjoyed our meal on the charming outdoor terrace, which provided a perfect setting with its relaxed, vibrant atmosphere.
Our dining adventure began with two exceptional appetizers: the pate and the potato pancake with smoked salmon. The pate was a rich, creamy delight, perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness and accompanied by crisp, fresh bread that provided a satisfying crunch with every bite. The potato pancake was equally impressive, its golden-brown exterior giving way to a soft, fluffy interior. Topped with velvety smoked salmon and a dollop of tangy crème fraîche, it was a harmonious marriage of textures and flavors.
For our main courses, we chose the duck breast and the beef sirloin, and both dishes were nothing short of extraordinary. The duck breast was cooked to perfection, its crispy skin encasing succulent, tender meat that was bursting with flavor. The accompanying seasonal vegetables and a delicate, slightly sweet sauce complemented the duck beautifully, making every mouthful a delight.
The beef sirloin was a standout as well, showcasing the chef's mastery of classic techniques and high-quality ingredients. The meat was perfectly seared, juicy, and tender, with a robust, beefy flavor that was enhanced by a rich, savory jus. Paired with creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal greens, it was a comforting yet sophisticated dish that highlighted the best of Polish culinary traditions.
I highly recommend having a meal at Prodiz Warszawski in Warsaw.

Read moreWe decided to try Prodiz because it offered local cuisine and happened to be in the neighborhood where we were staying. The first visit was excellent – both the food and the service. Our waiter, Vadim (if I remember correctly), was highly professional, attentive, and helped us choose both the wine and the food. Everything felt smooth and welcoming. Because of that positive experience, we returned the very next day – even knowing that the same waiter wouldn’t be there. Unfortunately, this time it was a complete disappointment, mostly due to the service. We sat outside again. After placing our order, our waitress essentially disappeared. Nobody seemed to be paying attention to the outdoor tables. When I mentioned at the beginning that I had enjoyed a certain white wine the night before, she brought me something completely different without even asking – and it was undrinkable. Only after I explained that this wasn’t the wine I had before did she realize her mistake and bring the right one. Two of our three dishes arrived on time, but the third was so delayed that we thought it had been forgotten. On top of that, I found two hairs in one of the dishes. I chose not to make a fuss – after all, we were on holiday – but it certainly didn’t add to the experience. The low point came when I asked another waitress for another glass of wine. Her reply was: “I’m not your waitress, so I don’t know what you’re drinking.” That kind of answer says everything about the level of service. Prodiz clearly has potential, and with staff like Vadim it can shine. But consistency is everything in hospitality, and sadly our second visit showed the opposite. My honest advice: Vadim – if you ever read this, you’re too professional for this place. Find a restaurant that...
