Starbucks — Restaurant in Warsaw

Starbucks is Starbucks, at least as far as the coffee is concerned. I enjoyed the coffee I had, though fans of drip coffee might want to consider that this is not popular here, and therefore there were not the options you might expect if you are used to Starbucks in the USA. The bakery and sandwich options are, I’m assuming, locally sourced and are far better than what you can get in the US. Since this location is in the city center, they have lots of the “you are here” collection mugs for purchase: Poland, Warsaw, Krakow. The upstairs area has plentiful tables, benches, chairs, and lounge chairs for conversations or working. WiFi is complimentary without have to ask for a password. And bonus - there’s a nice view of the Palace of Culture from the upstairs area. I recently visited this Starbucks and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff made no effort to greet us or acknowledge our presence. The person who took our order spoke to us in a condescending and dismissive tone, with noticeable facial expressions that suggested clear irritation or even hostility. There was no basic courtesy or professionalism shown throughout the interaction. We were not thanked, nor were we even told goodbye.
