WarSaw Pub — Restaurant in Warsaw

I seldomly leave bad reviews; However, it seems like most places today that are marked open online have actually been closed. I decided to visit Bar Przy Dunaju for a drink after a disappointing walk to an open business, allegedly. The WarSaw Pub happened to be along the way and I figured I’d stop by and double check on the time opening at 2:00 pm, since the door was open anyways. The time was 1:40. I heard a worker downstairs and said Cześć. The worker proceeded to yell that they were closed so I asked if they would open at 2. He then started screaming to check the time online, look at Google! It was so un-personable and rude. I have ran into other issues on this trip to Warsaw with other businesses advertising being open online but actually being closed. I do not recommend the WarSaw Pub, but I do recommended their competition next door, Bar Przy Dunaju because they were nice accommodating and welcoming. I had a very fun night here when I stopped by on a Friday evening. I think I got there a little bit after they opened, so the crowd wasn't overwhelming. If you're the talkative type, it seemed that there were a lot more English-speaking customers here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I sat at the bar and interacted more with them, as I didn't want to intrude on other groups. I think I had every beer they offered, as well as a few delicious vodkas. I didn't utilize the billiard hall upstairs, but I'm sure that was very good, as well, as a few players were coming down for refills. All in all, a very nice and fun place for me...

Lures in with cheap prices, but EVERYTHING asks for extra money...

A drop of ketchup 4 zlotys a drop of mayonnaise 4 zlotys.

On top of everything, the bill included a service fee of 12.5 zlotys... They don't understand that tipping should ALWAYS be voluntary.

Fortunately, there was no extra charge for using the toilet or for playing music there.

Card payment also seemed to be a problem and the receipt printer was "broken", so at first I had to pay without a receipt. however, we were able to take a picture of the cash register screen
