Souvenir Plaza — Local services in Warsaw

We were in a group with very diverse ethnicities and they were looking at all of us like HAWKS so we don't steal.. None of us had any intentions of that whatsoever, they were not doing this with other customers. We then tried to return an item like 5 minutes after the purchase because we saw that they charged us 40€ for like 5 magnets (are they crazy?) They told us they did not accept returns, I can get that and I didn't argue so I started choosing other items that I do think are worth the money but then they called me concerned because I didn't bring all the items I bought and only the ones I wanted to return and claimed they wouldn't be able to process the change without all the items... Between their attitude towards my group and their incompetence I decided to leave with my magnets because I couldn't put up with...

Probably the best and largest Souvenir shop in the city center / old town area. It is large and has a wide variety of stuff. It is right in the middle of everything ... next to restaurants, old church, and most of all next to the main square with outside restaurants and the mermaid. This square (Old Town Market Square / Rynek Starego Miasta) is the main highlight of Warsaw and this store is about 20 yards form its South-east corner.

The employees at the store are not pushy (but available) and all the prices are clearly marked. It has a good selection of the typical gifts/souvenirs you may want (caps, scarfs, shirts, magnets, pictures/drawings, etc.) Most of them seemed to be made in Poland. Highly...

I was a witness of a situation where a little girl wanted to exchange a small music box that she purchased 10 min earlier (I’ve seen her buying it and she returned when I was still browsing in the shop) but she was refused to exchange it for some stupid reason of „returns not being accepted” Despite the fact that the girl picked up the music box with different music that she wanted -they all cost same money. The girl was about 7 years old. I was shocked with the „rules” which are not up to european standards as well as the behaviour of the sale assistants.
