Czarna Magia Cafe & Breakfast — Restaurant in Wrocław

Awful service and rude personel! 4 our friends went there for a coffee. My friend and me came to join them. There was at least 10 free tables all around the place. Waiter came and informed us that becouse we had joined them, now we become „a group” and he will add 10% service to everybodys bill(they sere already almost finished with their coffees). Suprised, we said that in that case we will sat at the different table… which WAS NOT ALLOWED by the waiter, who then told us we cannot choose our own table! He WILL TELL US WHERE TO SEAT and he will show us table in the other part of the place! Next to our friends were 3 free tables with no reservations!! It was done on purpose as we said we do not understand why we must pay extra if the waiter did not serve the group! This is another level of turistic greed so I am spreading the word - they obiously do not practice welcoming customer service and the owners do not care about...

Stumbled upon this place when searching for a good breakfast place in the area. When I I arrived it was nearly full - a telling sign that the food was good - so I went in, was greeted politely, and seated. After looking at the menu I had to get the first choice - Canadian Waffle - as I am Canadian and had to be sure they were not misrepresenting my country 🤣. I am delighted to say that they do Canada proud as the waffle, maple syrup, bacon and eggs created an incredible dish. It was AMAZING. The staff are fantastic, the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming, and the coffee is perfect. If you are ever in Wrocław’s centre and need coffee, desserts, or THE BEST BREAKFAST EVER (available all day)… you have to come here… it is truly CZARNA MAGIA...

Great coffee options and good breakfast; however, the waitress that “greeted” us when we walked in is a different story. As soon as we said that we don’t mind waiting for a table instead of leaving since the restaurant was full her whole domineer changed as if she was angry that we wanted to wait and eat there. The wait wasn’t bad but she was definitely having a ‘day.’ The food was good, the food wait was quite long but coffee made it worth waiting. The orange espresso and the peanut butter latte were amazing! I’d love to go back, but I’m hoping that the lady will have a better day. Definitely the spot...
