SO! COFFEE — Restaurant in Wrocław

I’m giving this café three star. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. They did tell us at the beginning that it’s self-service, which would be fine — if the staff didn’t act like moving was optional. I’d understand if the place was packed, but there were literally five people in the whole café. A little movement probably wouldn’t hurt the girls behind the counter. On the bright side, at least we didn’t have to wash our own dishes — though at that point, I wasn’t entirely sure. The atmosphere didn’t make us feel welcome either. Overall, not a place I’d come back to — unless they start serving motivation...

I’m shocked about the reviews VS my experience as a customer. They served me a coffee that was more cold than hot. And an avocado sandwich like in the picture with only a tiny slice of avocado. When i talked to the manager i quickly understood that she was the worst manager in the world. She told me that the pictures are not always similar to reality. As a tourist i felt trapped! Please check the avocado sandwich in the picture (so tiny and weird looking)! They didnt want to change it nor to give me something else in exchange nor to give me back my money! The best carrot cake I’ve ever eaten outside the States — and who would've thought! Hidden just off Wrocław’s Rynek, this place was such a find! I almost walked right past it — too close to the main square, too “touristy,” I thought. Then I saw that warm little window and went in… and wow. Moist, rich, perfectly spiced carrot cake with the dreamiest cream cheese frosting. The cappuccino was spot-on too.
