Soczewka — Restaurant in Wrocław

Are you craving a burger for today? This is the right place for you. I have been living in Wroclaw, Poland just over a year, and always enjoy my weekend walking around the old town square. I accidentally walk past this restaurant for my weekend lunch. This restaurant located at the most famous "Old town square" got so many tourists every day for sure. The waiter "Kmail" was super friendly and helpful and introduced the menu to me. Service is key for all restaurants around the world. He makes me feel welcome and passionate attitude and sure earns this 5 stars review. I order the popular "Soczewka Burger", and love it, as you can see in the photo, it comes with Spanish and blue cheese and tender beef burger meat, and a special source, the taste very yummy. I also order sweet potatoes as a side dish. So, I fully recommend anyone if you are looking for an awesome burger restaurant, you will love it place for sure!! Tym razem byliśmy najedzeni i zdecydowaliśmy się na drinki, które również są tam serwowane. Ja zamówiłam sobie Malinowy Gin (16 zł), a mój chłopak Melonowe Mojito (25 zł). Były bardzo smaczne, a czas oczekiwania to 10 min. Bar powstał w miejscu salonu optycznego stąd nazwa lokalu. Wnętrze jest dość proste, ale czerwone krzesła i neony na ścianach dodają pomieszczeniu charakteru. Wrócimy tam kiedyś jeszcze spróbować jak smakują serwowane przez nich burgery.

13.03.2019 Wróciliśmy do Soczewki spróbować tamtejszego jedzenia. Zamówiliśmy Cheddar Burger (25 zł) i Burger miesiąca (30 zł). Cheddar Burger bardzo dobry, choć ciężko go wziąć całego do ręki. Burger miesiąca marzec to dosyć nietypowa propozycja, ponieważ nie jest zamknięty w bułce. Składa się z mięsa wołowego, panierowanej lasagne z mozarellą , sos pomidorowy i majonezowy a wszystko zamyka czips z lasagne. Na zamówienie czekaliśmy 11 minut. Burger miesiąca okej ale jednak zostaniemy przy standardowej wersji z bułką. In Soczewka bar are served various types of burgers, steaks, salads and other similar delicacies. This time we were full and decided to have drinks, which are also served there. I ordered a Raspberry Gin (16 PLN) and my boyfriend, Melon Mojito (25 PLN). They were very tasty and the waiting time was 10 minutes. The bar was created in place of an optical showroom, hence the name of the place. The interior is quite simple, but red chairs and neon signs on the walls add character to the room. We will come back there one day to try how burgers served by them taste.

13.03.2019 We returned to Soczewka to try the food there. We ordered Cheddar Burger (PLN 25) and Burger of the month (PLN 30). Cheddar Burger was very good, but it's hard to take it all in your hand. Burger of the month March is quite an unusual proposition, because it is not enclosed in a bun. It consists of beef, breaded lasagne with mozzarella, tomato sauce and mayonnaise, and all closes with a lasagne chip. We waited 11 minutes to order. Burger of the month okay but we will stay with the standard...

If I could give 6 stars, I absolutely would! The Turkey Bao was pure gastronomic love at first bite — so good I briefly considered moving closer to Soczewka just to be near the kitchen.

Our waiters, Wojtek and Kuba, made the whole experience even better. These guys knew the menu like the back of their hands and were so charming, I honestly thought about asking them for autographs. The service was so warm and attentive, it felt like we were having dinner at old friends' place (where the food just happens to be Michelin-level incredible).

Soczewka is one of those rare places where you come for the food and leave with a giant smile — and maybe a couple of new favorite waiters.
