Coeliac certified restaurant in an elegant hotel. Dishes are marked gf and there is a decent choice of them. The restaurant aims to offer gourmet food, the chef is definitely trying, unfortunately cannot say the same about the staff. I had a duck breast with quince and plum puree. The duck was nice however the puree was too watered down and neither plum or quince tasted tangy as you would expect quince and plum to taste. I also ordered a burger for my son who is a fussy eater. I ordered it without tomato, mayo and mustard although the waitress was not sure what was in the burger exactly. My son got served the burger with tomato in it and refused to eat it. The waitress refused to change it. I complained to the manager to make them aware. We paid, my son left the place hungry and I was shocked at the level of the service.
