Food was ok but level of service is a complete joke. I not only I was offended by very rude waitress named Barbara I even have been insulted by her when I paid my bill. we were there with bigger group celebrating and some bills were spererate (at least they supposed to be separate) I was sitting in middle of long table with problematic option to get out from my seat. When I asked Barbara for my bill and reminded what we had she said ok and left. After some time waiting i asked again and heard "yes I'm waiting for you" so I had to get out of my seat and walk to bar to pay my bill. It was shock for me that and I was upset for few of reasons. First of all all the trouble it was to get out of that damn table and secondly this is the first time I've heard that you need to walk to the waitress to pay your bill in restaurant. When I approach her and asked her is this normal she raised her voice on me, said "This is not 5 star restaurant" then I started arguing with her about how disappointed I am with her service after paying my bill heard "I hope I will not see you again here" This is what You get for 350 PLN...bad service and insults. I strongly suggest to avoid this place if you can. Kupowki is full of good restaurants and this is not...

Overall, I liked it. A bit disconcerting to start with as when they're full you have queue on bar stools by the entrance waiting for a table to come free. The staff don't even acknowledge you at this point. After waiting 10 minutes I approached the bar to see if I could get some drinks while we waited, only to be told no, not until we had a table. Strange, and at this point I was thinking this would be a 1 star review. But after another 5-10 minutes we were seated and greeted by a friendly waiter. From then on service was great, and food portions were plentiful. Ultimately, it was just 30 quid (150 pln) for two huge gourmet burgers, one pizza, one breadcrumbed chicken, all with chips, two fantas, two pints and two pina coladas. Can't really quibble. So, although 4 stars is generous it reflects the final satisfaction and value despite initial failings. EDIT: 2nd visit, deduct 2 stars as asked for pancake with just chocolate but it came with the full works including cheese(!). Asked waiter to replace but was told it was not possible to make without the cheese(?). At the end of the meal when dish was not eaten the cost of pancake was deducted from bill, so one star saved. New learning points...

This restaurant can only be described as one of the nicest places me and my family and friends have ever visited. We have been to Michelin Starts, and we can guarantee this place is as good as any Michelin.

Service is amazing, and the waiting time is perfect even when the place is busy. We stayed 5 days in Zakopane and dined there every single day. When we tried to change the restaurant to try something new, we regretted it and came back. We had the amazing opportunity of dining there for 5 days in a row for lunch and dinner, trying almost the whole menu. Every single dish was fresh, well presented, and sooooo tasty. You can feel all flavours and enjoy your meal from the cheapest dish to the most expansive main course.

Mushrooms and vegetable soups are a must to try for starters.

Burger sizes are so impressive, and pizzas are very tasty as well. Chicken and lamb are on the top 3 for the main course !!

While white choco mousse and cheesecake are the best options for dessert.

They also have great cocktails and good wines available.

Price is very low compared to the quality of food and service.

Can't wait to visit Zakopane again and Dine at Tunel.
