Good food at a cheap price? Here it is! Stopped almost by chance to this little and very simple place managed by a lovely couple. I managed to have the characteristic carne de porco Alentejana that was very good. Also the asparagus and prawns homelette was very tasty. If you’re looking for an authentic and very simple experience at a convenient price I’d give this place a try.

Il est presque 14h30. Nous rentrons dans le restaurant qui est vide, seul les propriétaires et un ami finissent de déjeuner. Nous demandons si vous nous pouvons manger et c'est avec beaucoup de gentillesse qu'ils nous accueillent. Dans ce restaurant, vous mangerez des plats typiquement portugais, simples et appétissants et à prix raisonnables. Un grand merci à eux pour leur accueil.

Mis hijas tortillas de york y queso, con patatas y ensalada. Nosotros un plato combinado de carne, patatas, huevo, ensalada y arroz. Postres caseros y fruta fresca.

Restaurante de los de antaño donde los propietarios nos atendieron con mucho cariño. Llegamos a las 15:30, que en Portugal es muy tarde, y aún así nos dieron de comer. Carta breve pero todo muy rico. Mis hijas tortillas de york y queso, con patatas y ensalada. Nosotros un plato combinado de carne, patatas, huevo, ensalada y arroz. Postres caseros y fruta fresca.

Simple home cooking run by a mom and pop down a small side street off the main street in the old town. No frills, no pretention. The classic cafeteria/restaurant where the locals come and have been coming to for quite some time. I love that places like...
