The very definition of authentic local cuisine. Very limited menu, as it should be, based on home-cooked favourites. We had lamb and potato stew, where the stew gravy is served separately with generous quantities of good bread. Prices are excellent, especially for drinks: 33cl beer - €1.20 0.5ltr wine - €2.50 Chocolate milk - €1 No English spoken, but the owner is patient and friendly, and with the aid of sign language and Google Translate, no problem at all. In summary, great food, excellent value, wonderful 'time warp' environment, and a superb and authentic local dining experience to be remembered. So very much better than the tourist traps in the town centre. 1/3 the price, twice the quality, and a dozen times more memorable.

Mi pregunta, que tienen para comer? Su respuesta, arroz con cilantro y jureles fritos, solo eso. El arroz sin ningún tipo de carne, pescado o marisco visibles ni sabor a ello pero, es increiblemente uno de los mejores arroces que he comido nunca, un 10 sin duda. Los jureles bien frititos y chirringositos, vamos, que no quede ni colas ni cabezas 😋😋😋

Espacio un tanto peculiar, pequeño, casi minimo, vamos un comedor con 4 mesas. Carta? No es necesaria, tan solo hay un plato al dia, hoy tocaba Sopa da Panela, una especie de cocido puchero., pero eso si buenísimo y servido con entusiasmo. El vino de la casa y la tarta de almendras pa repetir. 2 personas por 18€...

Easy menu - they serve only one stew, different everyday. Washed down with lovely house wine, you can be really happy. Super enthusiastic boss who seemed to be a youthful old man - cheerful & helpful. Mother Teresa was cooking in kitchen. Mainly regulars there. Hope you can find this place- it is really off the beaten tracks...
