OMG! Who would believe one of the world’s best hamburger joints would be in Evora, Portugal? You can actually taste the.beef in the patty which is cooked medium-well-done, still pink in the middle. Take your choice, I’m sure all are good. I had the open-faced which included:1/2 a bun, bacon, beef patty, ham, fried egg, & cheese all smothered in a tomato sauce so it had to be served in a bowl! Of course you get a side of crispy fries with a mayo/garlic & herb dipping sauce. Some patrons had a dessert chosen from an array of puddings and other delicious-looking treats, but I was too stuffed. And kids get their burgers on kids-sized buns. Obviously, I highly recommend this place, but Saturday afternoon expect to wait...

Great burger place in Évora! Get there early or be ready to wait, and there's a reason for the crowd! Juicy Burgers 🍔! Before we get to the burger, the service was fast and efficient especially considering that the restaurant was packed, they were all well trained and very attentive. l had the cortiço, a bacon cheese burger with caramelised onions and their homemade tomato sauce. The fries arrived hot 🔥 salted perfectly, accented with a bit of oregano and served with a small dish of garlic mayo. Would definitely go back, they have many interesting options...

Hubby and I both had the francesinha burger so I can't speak for anything else on the menu. But if it is anything like the francesiha.... sooooo good! The beef patty was well seasoned and properly cooked, the sauce was nice hot with a little spice. Delicious.
