Let me start by saying that when I travel and visit new places, I consider local culinary art as a fundamental point of the trip itself. For this reason I don't stop in the first place I find, but I start looking for nice places that have above all local products. Well this is a not cheap fish restaurant And it was a big fake! I ordered a skewer of grilled fish which they call 'Fish kebab' for the modest amount of 27.50 euros, I am in the Algarve in Albufeira surrounded by the Ocean and what do I find like fish type in the ‘Fish Kebab’? Big Pieces of vegetables (onion, pepper) and instead of squid or octopus or other Ocean fishes I found the famous SALMON that all of us know that typically lives in the Ocean…, Just 2 small pieces of cod and 2 shrimp (not prawns), burnt and dehydrated shrimp because with an obvious difference in cooking times compared to Salmon. An absolutely NOT worthy dish for a seafood restaurant located on the Ocean! It's as if I went to eat at a Chinese restaurant and they gave me an italian margherita pizza. Not recommended!

Atmosphere in the main restaurant seem to be good with indoor garden style, but we decided to sit outside suppose to be a rooftop terrace, is because on a sloping level, so climbing a stairs wasn't needed. it was brightly lit with two large lamps on one side of wall in a very small room size area consists of 7 or 8 tables for two, tightly together. Menu were quickly bought over, had a quick look, waiter asked have we decided ,no chance of waiting here. We ordered wine, I decided give the fish soup a go, one of the best I had, but let down by the Peri Peri chicken. Not sure what I make of it, tasty enough but was oily, correct me is that how they cook Peri Peri chicken in Portugal, nothing like what I had in Nando which is marinated and bbq, this was more like deep fried, as for vegetables to accompament the dish, not much, everythings seem to be with chips. My partner had a fillet steak, don't think it was a prime cut for the price, but cooked to his liking... Overall, Could be better.

The food was ok. There were a few minor things. The products from the couvert were not fresh but like it was from a hotel. I would have expected fresh butter and cheese, not eru cream cheese from a small plastic container. Foodwise it was no problem but I prefer not to use single use plastic. The crema catalana was half frozen but when I let it sit for a bit it was better. It still tasted fine. Now on to the good stuff. The meat was prepared wonderfully and the restaurant looks nice. Pepper sauce was great and the Portuguese Steak was exceptional. Also the staff was helpful. Also be advised: two 0.5 litres of sangria are cheaper than 1 litre, we found that a bit funny.

Delicious fresh fish for a good price & cooked on an open grill perfectly in this excellent location- on the steps to the tunnel. Love their fish soup & sea bass. Me fella gets the steak & garlic prawns- grilled to perfection. The orange cake & almond tart are Devine The bar is cool to hang out for a drink & the main dining room is beautiful with the hanging vines you feel like your in the garden of paradise. If you are able to score a table upstairs on the terrace- it’s divine. The service is on point - Delu, Joao & Daniel are all amazing & have mastered the craft of hospitality.

The service here was great. We sat outside on the balcony. The atmosphere is really good. The food, however, was a bit of a disappointment for me. The couvert appetizer was disappointing as it was a prepackaged sardine pate and not fresh. A lot of the deserts are also prepackaged items. For the price of pur meal, nothing should have been prepackaged... it was expensive. I ordered the swordfish, and it also did not seem fresh. It was tasteless. The tiramasu that was made in house was the best thing I ate during my meal. The mussels were also tasty 😋.

Average experience. Couvert consists of pre-packed portion of butter and fish pate that resembles a hotel breakfast. While waiting for the main course, we were served a grilled sausage on the house which was nice and also quite tasty. The fish recommended by the waiter was not bad, but while marketed as grilled, it was actually coated in something. Sides substandard. The service was average, so was the wine. Overall, an everyday experience for a high end price. Bad value for the money.
