Curry Leaves — Restaurant in Albufeira

The gem of Praia Da Oura. We are both massive Indian food lovers and this restaurant did not disappoint, in fact I think it exceeded expectations. I can understand why so many people have left glowing reviews of this little place.

The food was exceptional. My partner said it was the best keema naan he has ever eaten and I think its the best curry I have ever had too and having been to India, I think that's quite the accolade.

The service was fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough for us, even noticing that it was my partners birthday and bringing him out a traditional Indian cake with a candle in it. They also asked how hot we liked our curry, something I think all Indian restaurants should do especially as we like it hot.

What we ordered:

Onion bahji Jalfrezi Chicken curry... Sounds nondescript but was full of flavour with ginger, garlic and coriander. A not too tomato intense dish which worked perfectly for me who is not a tomato lover. Mushroom rice Onion rice Keema naan

All washed down with a very nice jug of sangria.

All for €44 euros. Bargain.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at thebrestaurant and I must say – this is Indian cuisine at its finest! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. What truly stood out was their attention to detail, especially when it came to spice levels and customer preferences.

Whether you like it mild or love the heat, the chefs here tailor each dish perfectly to your taste. I appreciated how they listened carefully and ensured every plate was just right. The food itself? Absolutely delicious! Rich, aromatic curries, perfectly cooked tandoori, and fresh naan that melted in your mouth – every bite was a delight.

The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience.

So … i don’t do reviews that often. Now we were going to go somewhere else on this particular evening. The very gracious host asked us as we were looking at their menu what we had planned. We had plans. He simply said try here you won’t be disappointed and he understood we did want to go elsewhere. Now … it’s one of the best curry’s I’ve eaten, we are Birmingham too so we know. Staff were great food was amazing and we are going back tonight as we enjoyed it so much. Give this place a try, real traditional Indian food. I can promise you that you will not be disappointed. Oh, the spice level is perfect so have medium to hot and don’t be scared. I’m going for hot and the lamb curry.
