Restaurante Churrasqueira Agapito — Restaurant in Albufeira

Firstly, I don’t normally do reviews but this restaurant was so awful I just had to. We had the starters…. We should have just left after this, I had prawns in garlic, I’m eating them and something doesn’t taste right, I’m looking at them and they aren’t looking right, as if they have been cooked and frozen again then cooked and re froze, my partner had the wings… they had 0 flavour, oily and left an awful after taste, causing us to leave over half of each starter. It gets worse with the main…. We stayed hoping they could pull through and show us some real traditional peri peri…. This was NOT the case, my partner order half a chicken, the chicken he got was tiny, chopped up and on a plate, it came with peri peri sauce…… this was oil which had chilli flakes in it again no flavour, our garlic bread was bread with garlic oil on it, my dinner was peri chicken and chips, the chicken was flat, oily and no peri flavour at all, the only decent thing we ate was the chips, I have never eaten such terrible food and wanted to leave a restaurant so soon after eating,(that’s just after the starters), we were never asked how the food was and they knew better to ask this. This restaurant caused me to have an upset stomach not too long after leaving, I haven’t felt so sick! I would NOT recommend...

Antes de Classificar tive também o cuidado de ver outros comentários, sobretudo no momento em que la estava a espera de ser atendido no sentido de perceber o porquê de tão mau serviço.

Para iniciar quando se chega à porta, normalmente espera-se que nos recebam cordialmente e que nos indiquem lugar. Nao aconteceu, pois dicaram tres pessoas a olhar e sem nada dizer, tive de avançar e questionar se nos poderiamos sentar... eramos os segundos a entrar no restaurante ede resto eatava vazio, tirando 4 pessoas que ja la estavam.

Questionei à empregada (nada simpatica e com dificuldades de compreensao de português apesar de ser brasileira) que prato recomendaria, algo que faço naturalmente em qualquer restaurante e que aquilo que recomendam (ex prato do dia) eu sem olhar à carta peço... e a resposta é - nao sei ue, aqui as pessoas pedem frango.

Tento fazer entao pedido e a senhora wsimpaticamente diz que será o colega... tento fazer sinal ao colega e este ignora... atendendo pessoas que chegaram depois e se sentaram primeiro... quando finalmente consigo fazer o pedido e em que o senhor parecia estar a trabalhar sem receber há meses, aguardo 25 minutos pelas entradas e 1h10 por um 1/2 frango e uma espetada (note.se que o retaurante ja so tinha mais tres mesas depois de mim e ja todas com pedido igual ja tinham sido servidas)

Apos chamar os empregados estes encolhiam os ombros e diziam que iam ver mas nada vinham dizer sequer...

Como tinha um bebe comigo, naturalmente pedi para falar com o gerente, que me pareceu desorganizado e nada conhecedor de como gerir um restaurante e atendimento ao cliente e que responde que ha imensos pais que gostam da pausa das entradas e do prato para os bebes comerem, praro esse que tmb o bebe estava a espera impaciente.. (???)

Espanta.me ver algumas boas classificações pois do que presenciei quase todos foram mal atendidos sem simpatia mas nem todos aguardaram pelo menos que saiba tanto quanto nos...

Resumindo, acho que o restaurante precisa de um bom gerente bem como todos os empregados de servico à mesa novos.

Ponto positivo? Bem, ao contrario dos empregados e do próprio gerente os frangos lá são atleticos w obrigados provavelmente a fazer exercicio, algo que valorizo muito, pois sao saudáveis, só é pena serem tao magros, tao magros, tao magros, que uma codorniz mal se distingue junto do frango mas que o preço é de frango que...

Really great food both dining in and take away. It is truly incredible value and exceptional quality for a lovely simple menu. We love the chicken peri peri and the kebabs! Small point to note on the food, the chicken is quite small so I would order 2 whole chickens for 3 people.

The chicken is arguably the best we've had after years of trying recommendations around the algarve. Juicy, perfectly cooked and not salted to death which is a common technique at other restaurants.

2 sections of the dining room, suggest sitting in the inner section as it's a very busy road and can feel like you're sitting on the pavement with the noise....not the restaurant's fault obviously, just a small tip to make the most of the...
