For the first time I was at this restaurant!! First point lack of organization!! Second point, it took some time to order drinks and food! And the house had our table of 15 people and two more on the terrace.. On the terrace 1 table for 3 people and another for two people! Starters were just bread and butter, nothing more than the menu said that we were also entitled to sausages! Afterwards, the food was great, you can't say otherwise, we ordered (picanha, roast chicken and spare ribs) great and quality food! Then the desserts arrived, it took a while but they finally arrived at the table! We're talking about a birthday reservation... No one was able to come up to the table and ask (is everything ok?) Do you need anything? Zero and give food and that's it, the rest doesn't matter? As I was saying, it was time to sing happy birthday, no one had the conscience to lift the dessert plates and coffee cups! The table looked like I don't know what, no words for such a thing! Per person it cost €22 and per child €6 When I got to the counter to pay, it was €24 for adults and children! Did I say sorry? So the child pays the same as if there was no coffee or dessert? I had said it was €22 per adult and €6 per child Well, I paid everything as you did the bill. Meanwhile the other couple went to pay and rightly complained! This was the first and last time, I'm sorry, but next time I hope they don't cheat the customers because that's how you destroy a house! The guy on the team, I don't know his name, just went to order the desserts with a smile and was friendly, the lady was not friendly! I have worked in the restaurant business for 5 years, I have never done anything like this for customers, but it was a very sad thing for a child's birthday! I don't know who the boss or manager is but this situation is unacceptable!! we were super humble with politeness from the maid's mouth, not even a thank you or apology, zero,...

We ordered some mozzarella sticks and 2 main dishes, then waited for 45 minutes until the staff realized they didn’t put our order down. The mozzarella sticks never came… a dreadful outcome of our stay at this otherwise nice restaurant. I was devastated once I found out the chicken that I ordered was raw, probably because they wanted to make up for our wasted time at the beginning of this horrifying dining experience and didn’t take the time to cook it properly. Another storm hit us once we found out the prices on the menu weren’t the prices we paid because of the taxes we weren’t aware of. All in all the staff was a big sloppy flop. If you remember the beginning of this review you’ll know that we waited for a shamefully long time until our food came; in those soul crushing minutes no server pondered the way with us. In other words we were left alone while our stomachs consumed themselves from the inside. Cute...

Galinha da vizinha is a lovely place for some authentic Portuguese food. The chicken is amazing and tastes incredible, and its location is just a stones throw from the busy 'strip'. All of our food tasted incredible, the rice being a personal favourite. We definitely recommend the wings as a nice starter. If you're looking for a Nandos style chicken, that's relatively cheap, in a clean and friendly environment, go here!

We had a few different dishes, including two of the deserts on our two visits, and we loved them all.

We really recommend this place for great food and a chilled out vibe.
