Really disappointed with this place. Came here because of all the positive reviews, but honestly it was a huge letdown. We ordered the Salmon Royale and Bacon Benedict (both on bagels) — €12.90 each — and the portions were ridiculously small. Just one tiny bagel with a bit of topping, no sides, no salad, nothing. The taste was super basic, nothing special at all.
Also had the Chocolate Indulgence Pancakes — basically just two dry pancakes with some chocolate syrup on top. Not soft, not tasty, just dry and boring. We added two scoops of ice cream to go with them, but they forgot to bring it. Only after we reminded them, they served it in a separate glass — by then the whole thing felt awkward and disconnected.
We also got a large cappuccino and a large caramel frappe — again, both very average, like something from a vending machine.
In the end, the bill was €54 for two bagels, two drinks, and a small pancake dish with delayed ice cream. Way overpriced for what you get. Nothing felt worth the price.
The place was full, but I think a lot of people just got fooled by the high rating like I did. Wouldn’t recommend at all and definitely...
Read moreWhat resonated in my mind was Georgina Gelato‘s ability to excel across numerous avenues in a unique fashion.
E.g., the manager was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, and even went above and beyond to connect me with Georgina‘s GM who happened to be working at their Neapolitan Pizza establishment down the street (cheers for the great chat Suzanna and all the best on the week ahead).
And despite only having had the chance to try a blueberry & banana waffle, it is abundantly apparent that all of their crepes, waffles, and other pastry products, are of an exemplary quality. The attention to detail, and T.L.C that went into the waffle‘s prep and eventual production was absolutely top notch. This, as well as the fact that the shore‘s ambiance and design was chic, uplifting, and cozy all at once, are but a few of the reasons that Georgina Gelato is excellent in every sense...
Read moreI had an amazing experience at Georgina Café! I tried their Nutella crepe with peanut butter, banana, and strawberry, and it was absolutely divine! The combination of flavors was perfect – the sweetness of the Nutella, the savory touch of peanut butter, and the freshness of the fruits came together in a heavenly way. Every bite was pure bliss.
On top of that, the service was outstanding! The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure I felt right at home. The café itself has such a cozy and beautifully decorated atmosphere, creating the perfect vibe to relax and enjoy. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu....
