Restaurante Oriental Tea — Restaurant in Albufeira

We live in Oura and Love Asian food, so we checked out Oriental Tea for dinner. First, you cannot beat the view or location. Such a lovely view. We skipped the basic menu on the table and asked for the full menu. We started with 1 BBQ ribs, 8 Crispy Duck & Char sui pork, 9 Crispy spring rolls. The reason for the 4 stars not 5 for food is the spring rolls. They are nothing like you would or hopefully ever have anywhere else. Curried veggies in a wrapper and fried. Way too wet and the Curry is simply wrong in Spring rolls. Not good. We ordered Fried rice, Noodles, Chicken in black bean sauce. All were excellent. Next time we get Dumplings instead. I had a few beers and was feeling snackish, went down and grabbed a table overlooking a beautiful beach. The view is breathtaking. I ordered off the snack menu and I got the beef curry and it came with egg fried rice and a spring roll, the girlfriend had the chicken off the snack menu. It was much larger then I thought it would be. The food was great, the staff were very friendly. It came to 20 euro with 2 bottles of water. A very decent meal...

Péssimo atendimento. Staff totalmente despreparado, não falam português e mal falam inglês. Tentaram me cobrar a mais na conta por um erro do atendente que anotou o pedido errado, mesmo eu tendo repetido duas cezes e perguntado se ele havia entendido. O atendente mal parou para anotar o pedido, tive de chamar, não trouxeram talheres nem guardanapos. Quando veio a conta com valor a mais, o outro atendente que mal entendia português foi extremamente grosseiro, querendo me obrigar a pagar, dizendo que o preço que estava no cartaz estava errado pq era antigo. Mesmo no cardápio que ele trouxe o preço era menor. Pedi algumas vezes que ele chamasse o gerente e ele respondeu que eu que fosse lá dentro (estava na esplanada) atrás do gerente. Eu me recusei e pedi que ele chamasse o gerente. Ele seguiu arrimando calmamente as mesas da esplanada sem chamar. Até que eu vi o outro atendente e o chamei. Uma total falta de organização, continuaram querendo me cobrar por um prato que não foi o que eu pedi ou comi, um absurdo, até que finalmente corrigiram o valor. Nao recomendo de forma alguma esse lugar. Os pratos nao estao à altura do valor que cobram, o atendimento é pavoroso e ainda tentam te cobrar a mais. Um aborrecimento atrás do outro. Fujam...
