DUNE Steakhouse — Restaurant in Albufeira

My opinion of this establishment, is style over substance. My partner and I, ordered a T bone steak and Scallop Nero linguine. Firstly , the T bone steak was not cooked medium well but clearly rare even by their own picture scale on the back of their menu! when we spoke to the manager he just dismissed the comment and took the dish away with no apology for 35€. The pasta was woefully underseasoned, the only saving grace being the Scallops had clearly been cooked separately so were delicious but unfortunately placed on some pasta and cream for 28€ .My daughters Portuguese Steak was good if a little fatty, certainly not worth the 30€ price tag. In summary a real shame, not cheap and we were really looking forward to this place but a bitter disappointment when the best part of a meal out is the dj ( who was brilliant) the manager left his team to deal with us whilst he attempted to open Champagne with a knife, maybe a little less showmanship and more tasting of the food he serves might give this...

Our family of nine had an absolutely outstanding evening at Dune Steakhouse. From start to finish, everything was exceptional.

The cocktails were superb — the Salted Caramel Martini is a must-try — and the Vallado Douro 2022 red wine was simply sublime. The service was seamless: friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed without ever feeling rushed.

As for the food… world-class. The rib-eye, fillet, and tomahawk steaks were cooked to absolute perfection — among the very best you’ll find anywhere. Every plate that came out was beautifully presented and full of flavour and not forgetting the ham croquettes, scrumptious.

We have had a lovely meal here tonight. I am not someone who usually eats steak but I tried the fillet steak with peppercorn sauce - amazing! My Fiancé had the T bone steak - superb 👌🏻 We then had desserts - Tiramisu - one of the best I have ever had, and lemon sorbet - very refreshing. We both had a drink aswell. Yes our bill was a lot more than any of the other restaurants in the area but we realise we were paying for quality in everything - Food, Drink, Atmosphere, Service. We couldn't fault anything.
