I’ve always loved Huracan—it’s a great place with fantastic food, and I used to visit very often. However, my last experience was absolutely disappointing and unacceptable.
We placed a phone order for seven people. We were told the order would be ready in 25 minutes, so we arrived at the restaurant accordingly. But upon arrival, we were informed that they had another large order and were asked to wait an additional 20–25 minutes.
To pass the time, we ordered beers—which we paid for. While I understand paying for drinks, under these circumstances, where we were inconvenienced by their delay, it would have been a nice gesture for them to offer the drinks as compensation.
When we finally got the food and returned home, we discovered several issues: one taco and a dessert were missing, and a burrito was incorrect (pork instead of beef for someone who doesn’t eat pork). I called the restaurant to inform them, and their response was, “Oh, okay, come back to pick them up.” No apology, no acknowledgment of their mistakes—nothing. I found this shocking.
It didn’t end there. My friend drove back to the restaurant, which took another 20 minutes. Upon arriving, they handed him the dessert but claimed it hadn’t been paid for, despite the error originating from their end during the phone order. They made him pay for it, even after all the inconvenience and frustration we’d been through.
This level of customer service is truly disappointing. This kind of behavior is simply...
Read moreIf you’re craving seriously amazing Mexican food, this is the spot. I had a bowl with tender, juicy chicken and perfectly cooked beans, all smothered in the most incredible verde sauce I’ve ever tasted—fresh, tangy, and totally addictive. Every bite was bursting with flavor.
The beef nachos were on a whole other level: crispy tortilla chips piled high with perfectly seasoned beef, melty cheese, and just the right amount of heat. They didn’t get soggy and stayed delicious till the very end. 😩😩
The portions were generous, the ingredients were fresh, and you can taste the love in every dish. The service was friendly and fast, and the whole place had a great vibe.
Honestly, if you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re missing out. It’s the kind of food that makes you close your eyes and savour every single bite. beat bang for your buck $!...
Read moreVery mixed feelings here (I recently spent 2 months in MX to relate). My first time: Pork tacos had very strong and smell to the point I didn't finish them. A big no no My second time : Had chicken quesadillas. I did enjoy it. Chicken burrito seemed good also.
Here is the second reason for my rating : the guacamole is a big joke. It is not guacamole. It is tiny portion of mostly chopped onion and tomatoes (with a tiny dosis of chopped avocado) ... Never had such a such for guacamole anywhere. 5 euros for basically couple of nachos. It reminds me the chopped onion/tomatoes mix that are (for free) to be added in the...
