Food was very good, so were the ladies at the counter. We took the food to the tables outside and we're surrounded by 2 bums, who started their talk with "we don't asks for money..." But when I told them that I can buy them food and then should wait somewhere near, they were still standing by our table, until they got some EUR from me... No police, no assistance from the restaurant service. Shortly after those two left a female bum approached us asking for money. I just told her she was too late, because I have lost all my change to those 2 who left a while ago. In no other restaurant in the world I have encountered such situation. A staple of casual food in Costa da Caparica, where you can find comfort food until the late hours of the night. The place didn't change much, only the quality and portions, before the chouriço sliced were hand cut and they were more plentiful, but still, it's a place to get a good quality but plentiful meal. This is the concept of "doner kebab" of eating something after a long night, before kebabs were a thing in Portugal. As per today, you can get a whole menu for 6.5€, that consists of a soup, drink, wooden oven bread with chouriço, pudding rice and coffee. The caldo verde soup, chorizo bread and the cod fish pastries are the greatest things of this "quick stop" snack bar. The rest is not worth it, and there is bot much more available to drink or eat rather than those. The sugar covered pastry "filhós" is rubbery, so totally not worth it. This place also deserves much better lighting... the cheap halogen white blue lights makes u feel inside the fridge. A bit of warmth touch, here and there, could make this place much more appealing than what it is, but again, its really a quick stop place last resort, when you suddenly become hungry and don't want to sit for 1 hour to...
