Absolutely phenomenal historical place, serving the amazing northern Portuguese cuisine at its best, with the customary warm and familial service of Minho.
To set it apart from all others, in our last visit we were having a conversation about what a cod fish dish was called and were shared the name, history and context by the host.
Every time I come to Braga, if time permits, I will want to return and there is no good reason why I wouldn't: top notch food and service for an almost symbolic price.

We ended up here, and decided to stay due to the nice environment we observed. We ordered a "bacalao a bras" for two which was excellent! I must note that the service was very good, and staf very polite. The brought us some starters (chease and ham) with some baked and raw bread slices.
