We had another incredible meal at Capim Dourado, and it was a delight to be served by Bruno again who is always welcoming. We were also served by a young woman whose name we didn’t catch.

Today we had a shared beef rib plate, the chicken stew, and a vegan stew. All were phenomenal and accompanied by excellent Caipirinhas.

We can’t wait to return again, and our thanks to the team for the exceptional service. This is our favourite place to bring guests when they visit.

A particular point, the starters are exceptional, but special notice should be given to the tapioca bites and the pururuca (pork crackling) which would be phenomenal as a meal...

You know that scene in Ratatouille, when they open their small restaurant at the end of the movie. I felt like that describes the best how one feels when visiting this place. The attention to detail, even the silverware resembles “cana de açúcar” from Brazil, the food is beyond description and the staff is super friendly and seem proud to be a part of it. As said in the movie, “I will be returning to Capim Dourado soon, hungry for more”. The “feijoada” I’ve ordered didn’t make it to the picture, because it was too damn good. More than a meal, our party of 4 enjoyed a wonderful "dining experience" last night. Our dinner consisted of the Amazon salad, hake fish, and steak, with sides of beans and vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection! And the portions were abundant. The service was friendly, uplifting, helpful, and very kind. The beautiful live Brazilian music, joyful fellow diners, and warm ambience of the environment added to our pleasure.
