Don Taquito — Restaurant in Coimbra

Don Taquito in Coimbra was a great spot for a flavorful and enjoyable meal. The food was delicious without being overpowering, which made it a pleasant experience. I ordered the enchiladas de birria, and my aunt had the birria tacos—both dishes were well-prepared and absolutely satisfying.

We also ordered guacamole, which was fresh and tasty, though the portion was very small. At just €0.50, it’s understandable, but something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a larger serving.

The margarita was great and added to the meal, but I do wish their tequila selection was better. My aunt, who’s a tequila connoisseur, wasn’t impressed with the options available, which felt limited for a restaurant like this.

Overall, Don Taquito delivered on taste and quality. I’m looking forward to returning and trying more of their menu. If you’re in Coimbra and craving Mexican food, it’s definitely...

We made a reservation via thefork. They were very responsive on Instagram as well. The service was great. They prepared outdoor seatings for us upon arrival because we are coming with a small dog. Unfortunately the food was below our expectations. We ordered several varieties of tacos, enchiladas, poke bowl and burrito. The tortilla they used for taco were very thin and toasted. Some of them were a bit burnt. The flavor of al pastor was not good. The fillings were pretty small in quantity. It would be better if they can focus on the Mexican flavor (or try to get as close as possible) instead of offering a lot of varieties that end up to...

Naturalmente que o foco do restaurante é a qualidade das refeições servidas e, nesse aspeto, tudo dentro do razoável. No entanto esqueci-me de um acessório no local. Dirigi- me às instalações e fui recebida de forma extremamente simpática por um funcionário que questionou uma colega acerca do eventual achado. A mesma afirmou que uma colaboradora o tinha encontrado e guardado, pedindo-me que voltasse a passar no restaurante mais tarde. Assim fiz. Voltei, expliquei o sucedido à funcionária desse horário, que mostrou ter conhecimento do sucedido e ligou à colega que o teria. Findado o telefonema, questionou se não poderia voltar no dia seguinte. De forma menos sorridente, expliquei que não, por viver do outro lado da cidade. A colabora extremamente simpática voltou a contactar a tal colega e fui alertada de que, em 10 minutos, o acessório seria devolvido. Esperei 20 minutos e não houve qualquer sinal de devolução. Já chateada, voltei a falar com a funcionária e, de forma empática, referi que percebia que possivelmente esta não teria qualquer culpa do sucedido, mas o feedback que darei deste local ao meu núcleo próximo não seria positivo. Um serviço público deverá prezar pela honestidade e ética e não por este tipo de atitude de brincar com o tempo de (ex)clientes.

Sabendo que o acessório em questão está efetivamente na posse de alguém do estabelecimento, queira só ficar elucidado do Art.209° do código penal- apropriação ilegítima em caso de coisa achada (especificamente o n"2 do artigo) para eventuais situações semelhantes no futuro.

Obviamente não se trata do valor do acessório (gola branca), mas sim da atitude em nada...
