Terrible experience. I stopped in this place after a long walk in a hot day after visiting Convento de Santa Clara and I can only say I do not recommend this place, the main waitress/employee responsible of the waitress shown a rude and arrogant attitude the whole time. I was looking only for drinks and something to snack on. The glass of wine took too long and they wanted to sell the bottle instead of the glass even if it is in the menu. We asked for food, only a small dish not the whole lunch but we were just ignored until one of the waiters asked us if we wanted something to eat and we said yes, we had ordered but we decided to cancel the food, finish the drinks and find an other place. I want to clarify the other two young waiters were always very kind and professional even when they noticed that our snacks/food was never captured by the other guy. The same guy was never open to communicate in other languages including Spanish and English but the waiters were open and able to speak with us even though they...

Such nice staff, it was a lot of fun to communicate with them in a mix of english, spanish and portuguese and we laughed a lot together throughout the evening. There is an outside terrace with 5 tables, inside there is room for maybe 15 people. The food is authentic down-to-earth Portuguese home-style cooking. No fancy experiments, but not touristy either and everything very fresh and prepared to perfection. The mushrooms and the mussles were a dream, we also enjoyed the Bacalhao and a nice and fresh Algarve salad. We finished with a very nice creme de leite. It seems that the restaurant is family-operated and it felt almost like we had been invited to someone‘s private house. Too bad we discovered it on our last evening in Coimbra, otherwise we would have eaten here...

He was very welcoming offered a nice wine the food was delicious with clams to start and the chanfana being the higlight for all of us I definitely recommend you try it if you decide to come to this establishment. It gets quite busy at night a few tables inside with an outdoor patio that...
