Restaurante Ratatouille — Restaurant in Funchal

Was kind of quiet here when we visited..the other sister restaurant in Rua Dos Tanoeiros 'La Galeria'p did not do anything gluten free so we were sent up here. The food here is fantastic and some dishes can be adapted to be gluten free,, the mushroom starter was great, the gluten free seafood pasta with cream tomato and prawn was amazing, Tiramisu (not for coeliacs) was fantastic. The waiter Diogo brought us over free lemoncello shots as we were suggesting doing a lemoncello Titamisu but we poured the shots over it, according to Diogo they were going to do a lemoncello Tiramisu, we got on really well with him.. He's such a really nice guy..very professional, friendly, chatty funy and a real pleasure to be served by. Hope he felt the same for us. the location isn't ideal as it's off the main road 10 mins walk from the old town but well worth going out of your way uphill a little for a visit..Come here for brilliant...

I just love this place!! Every time I visit Madeira this is a must! Food is mouth watering! And the think here is that it offers a variety wide enough to please everyone in the family! The quality of the ingredients is really good! Starters are super delicious! Fresh pasta, that is really hard to find. You can have a nice steak or fish, salads… well… you definitely have to visit! Stuff is always friendly. And the best is that my son (who’s a fussy eater) loves their pizzas! He says it’s the best he ever had!! I better stop writing as I’m getting...

Fomos la jantar 3 pessoas pois era mesmo ao lado do hotel fizemos a reserva pelo google e ficou tudo confirmado ao chegar la pareceu me que ninguém sabia da reserva mas arranjaram nos logo mesa pois so havia 2 pessoas na sala, pedimos pao de alho que vinha com 3 fatias boas e o resto queimado e a lasanha pois estou grávida e saltou me logo aos olhos pelas imagens que vi era maravilhosa e realmente o aspecto quando chegou a mesa 5* mal meti a primeira garfada ia me vomitanto toda tal como a minha sogra que odiou, mal tinha carne havia imenso queijo e a carne sendo de vaca nem parecia ser do dia pelo sabor , o meu namorado comeu tudo mas sempre disse o mesmo sobre a carne, acabei por chamar o empregado que inicialmente trouxe a minha bebida e era a errada e expliquei lhe que o savor estava integrável e queriamos outro prato, com intenções de pagar aquele, o mesmo nao me pareceu surpreendido com a reclamação do sabor pedimos uma pizza a qual sim veio espectacular No final para nossa surpresa so foi cobrado a do meu namorado que realmente comeu a dele e a pizza. Se quiserem comer uma boa pizza recomendo mas tirando isso fica um pouco a desejar por tudo o resto depois de ler tantas avaliações no google e achar que seria uma experiência maravilhosa sai de la...
