We have ordered from here before and it has always been nice. However, sadly on this occasion it was like they were closing and the chef just threw all the left overs in the bag. We ordered pork and beef came. We also orders two lots of £13 pound starters and they only sent one, but never issued a refund. I think they assume we won’t complain because we are trust - but actually my parants live on the island. I always remember when someone steals from me ! And if you didn’t send the food or provide the refund then you stole £13 ! Simple ! Avoid is you don’t want to be charged £13 for dishes you do not receive. Will not order again as this is theft and no business should operate like that. The foods only nice is you go in person otherwise it’s how ever the guy feels to through your food in the bag...
Read moreWe ate at this restaurant twice during our stay in Madeira. We always look for a Filipino restaurant wherever we go and this place did not disappoint!
The couple who run it are so welcoming, hardworking and friendly, we really enjoyed chatting - and this made it one of the best dining experiences we had in Madeira! He also gave us some great recommendations of things to do during our stay.
The food is delicious, (we had lumpia, adobo, dinuguan, sisig, pancit bihon, halo halo and turon) and portion sizes are great! We really enjoyed the homemade banana ketchup.
I hope more people discover this gem in Madeira as the owners deserve the recognition. Fingers crossed for the honeymoon in Palawan!
We will definitely be back 😊...
Read moreUnexpected but such a pleasant surprise! It was our very first time trying Filipino cuisine and we absolutely fell in love with it. A perfect break from eating only traditional Madeiran food during the holiday and a great way to try something new.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and patient with all my questions — they took the time to explain each dish and shared so many interesting details about Filipino cuisine. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked and full of flavour: do try the rice papaer rolls with veggies and the purple yam ice cream!
Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madeira — we can’t wait to...
