Was open early at around 9.40 AM when we got here. Most of the other good cafes in Guimarães were still opening at that time. Seemed like a place the locals hang out in, which is always a good sign to see if a place is legit. The server was friendly and made some good recommendations. Coffee was great. Great place to have a cheap meal amongst the Portugese. Not one of those high priced tourist restaurants but just a no fuss cafe with friendly service.

The soup and bread were delicious, as was the cachorro at VERY reasonable prices. My espresso was excellent. On a hot day, the breeze through the open doors were very refreshing. A great spot for people-watching as well. We will be...

Great place to have a cheap meal amongst the Portugese. Not one of those high priced tourist restaurants but just a no fuss cafe with friendly service. I had a laege bowl of soup, a warm sandwich with sausage and a coffee which cost me only € 4,85 !
