An awful experience; avoid this restaurant like the plague. We arrived opening hours and immediately had our first miscommunication of the dinner with our waitress. We asked her if gluten-free options were available (gluten-free pizza/pasta dough). In response, she got confused and walked off, only to have another male waiter come back and tell us that there were 0 gluten-free options and that the gluten-free person in our group would have to either order appetizers or a salad. Although we were disappointed, this sometimes happens, and we were determined not to let it get in the way of our experience. Next, we ordered drinks, water for all, and wine for a couple of people in our group. After 15 minutes, they brought out two water glasses and two wine glasses along with the wine (we were a seven-person group). Much more, the water tasted and smelled of laundry detergent, which was disgusting. When the waiter came around with our drinks, we ordered our pizzas and watched as more people sat at tables around us. We then proceeded to wait 1 hour for our food to arrive. The worst part was that people that came after us had received their pizzas at a regular time (around 20, maybe 30 minutes), and by the time the waiter came by with our food, it was around 8:30 pm. Apparently, the waitpeople had been confused and thought that we were somehow finishing our appetizers and had yet to start cooking the pizzas, even though we explicitly told them multiple times that we were ravenous and they should bring out the food as soon as it was ready. Finally, we got our food and started digging in. Quickly, we noticed that the people in our group that had ordered thick-dough pizzas had almost entirely raw dough. The pizza hadn't been cooked enough, and the bland white pizza dough was squishy and raw. The toppings on all the pizzas were highly disappointing, and the salad the gluten-free person in our group ordered had massive chunks of tangerine and oranges (like, half an orange), along with 0 dressing. We ended up paying around 16 euro per person for some of the worst food I've had in Europe. From start to finish, the experience was dreadful, disgusting, and the waitpeople didn't even pretend to care about serving us on time or...
Read moreHorrible service. Maybe the worst service I’ve got… I’m usually nice when these situations happened because I’ve worked hospitality for 10 years, but I have to warn you... Arrived, waited 10 minutes for the menu on the table, ordered, waited 1h for water on the table even though I’ve asked the waitress 4 times to check with the bar. Didn’t start good at that point, so I got worried and wanted to double check with the waitress to see if the food was on the way. I asked her to check with the kitchen and she said she’ll check. 40 minutes later the food arrived, with one missing pizza, one missing soup and some missing ingredients on the pizzas. Overall, the food was good but way too expensive and we were left hangry. They offered us one free pizza but refused to do anything more than that. Don’t waste your time unless you’ve got...
Read moreThe pizzas are good, the starter that we choose was too, too salty, peixinhos da horta. The descriptions on the menu are very elaborated but the flavour doesn't quite get there. My first foccacia that was sweet, never had that. The red wine was served too warm, we have to has for a cooler. The place is nice and decoration is nice, but the food is just ok. In my opinion some pastas even that basic like lasagna...
