I just love this cafe on the main square in Ferragudo. It is open early and stays open year round. Great local hangout joint where the beer is cold and the "bica's" are strong. Service is laid-back and friendly. No need to rush here. Sit back and watch the world go by. Omelets, burgers, cuttlefish, fries, salads, etc. Very reasonable prices.

Quiet in the morning. Ideal set out location before a day of sightseeing. Good breakfast options, friendly staff who speak good English and French. Be aware, as with most places on the algarve there is a minimum spend of €10 before you can pay by card. No shortages of ATM’s in the area.

Increible experiencia. Creíamos que iba a ser el típico sitio para turistas en la plaza del pueblo. Pedimos el menú grande, el de 19,50€ y desde el primer momento fue todo estupendo. Los aperitivos incluidos, el pan también, dos platos por cabeza, postre y café. Toda la comida estaba espectacular de rica , yo me pedí un bacalao a la crema que tenía muchísimo bacalao y muy rico y una sopa de pescado espectacular. Los camareros fueron todos súper amables y educados y la atención buenísima. ¡Y ya alucinamos cuando nos trajeron una jarra fresquita fresquita con medio litro de cerveza muy buena y también incluida en el precio!!Salimos muy contentos de allí. Especial atención a un camarero argentino y que fue muy atento con nosotros (perdón por no acordarme del nombre). Pero todos fueron estupendos. Seguíd así.

Increible experiencia. Creíamos que iba a ser el típico sitio para turistas en la plaza del pueblo. Pedimos el menú grande, el de 19,50€ y desde el primer momento fue todo estupendo. Only "portuguese" cafe left in the square. Staff work very hard but it is extremely busy at times and a short wait is sometimes inevitable. Staff all friendly and once they get to know you, your drink or whatever is often delivered without you even ordering. Greaat place to chill and people watch at all times of...

Seriously delicious bifanas served by lovely staff who work so hard. It's right in the main "square" of Ferragudo which is great for people-watching over a coffee during the day or something a little stronger at night. It's a typical local bar and coffee shop with great prices and a friendly mix of locals...
