I stopped here as a solo traveller whilst I was ambling my way arround Ferragudo on a warm September day. It was a small venue, just off the main square with tables spilling out in the street. They had a very inviting display of cakes, and a simple menu. I was sat quick even though I had not booked, and ordered a tuna salad and sweet potato fries. The food came out very quick, and was delicious and well portioned. I had a lovely ice cold beer and lovely espresso to finish. The atmosphere was great, and a special shout out to the lovely polite gentleman who served me and kindly spoke good English to help me out. Read moreLittle old Ferragudo is a cute old village next to Portimão. Lots of small fishing boats whose stuff is on the quay. Very nice to walk through if you are staying in Portimão.
We were looking for a coffee shop to have some snacks and coffee. We ended up here. Below again my standard points I deal with for places like this.
Staff: Nice guy super friendly. Also spoke good English.
Food: We were looking for some goodies and coffee. Unfortunately, I expected my Lotus cake to be much crispier. The Lotus bottom was already completely week unfortunately. The coffee was okay though.
Interior: It was okay but nothing special.
Music: There was no music playing on the terrace when we were there.

Read moreDelicious lunch. Sadly we discovered this little gem on our last day so we didn't get a chance to revisit. We all had burgers and they were really tasty. The fries were out of this world (seriously, go just for the fries!!). We visited ahead of a long day if travelling so used this as an excuse to indulge in the truly tempting sweet treats. Delicious! We shared the Oreo cake, the lime tart and the strawberry cheesecake. They were all divine... Perhaps it was for the best that we didn't discover Benjamim until our last day...
