I recently visited Bali Food & Drinks in Leiria, and it was a delightful experience. This cosy place brings a touch of Bali, Indonesia, to the heart of Leiria with its inspired menu and relaxing atmosphere.
We were initially drawn to Bali Food & Drinks to try their famous smoothie bowls because this is one of the things we miss from Bali, and while they were enjoyable, we unexpectedly found ourselves falling in love with their pancakes instead. The pancake dish we ordered was beautifully presented, adorned with an array of fresh fruits that added a vibrant touch. The pancake dough itself was delicious, striking the perfect balance between sweetness and flavour, just the way we prefer it.
As for the Bali smoothie bowl, it was a nice treat, although we found the texture to be slightly more liquid than we anticipated. Nonetheless, the flavours were enjoyable, and the presentation was visually appealing.
One aspect that truly stood out during our visit was the atmosphere of the restaurant. Bali Food & Drinks has managed to create a space that exudes relaxation and tranquility. The ambiance, coupled with the friendly staff, made for a truly pleasant dining experience.
While the food and atmosphere were exceptional, it's worth noting that some may find the prices to be on the higher side. However, if you're in the mood for something different and are willing to treat yourself, this is definitely a place to visit. Bali Food & Drinks is a great addition to Leiria City and offers a unique culinary experience that transports you to the enchanting...
Read moreI recently dined at Bali Food & Drinks, a place I had heard great things about. However, my experience was far from pleasant. The food was average, more importantly, the service left much to be desired.
As I was seated, I was greeted by a staff member who was going to take my order. As I began to list my choices, I was suddenly interrupted by the staff member raising his hand to stop me, without uttering a single word. I was taken aback by this unexpected gesture, and it left me feeling rather uncomfortable.
As it turned out, the staff member was in the middle of training a new employee on taking orders, and felt it was more important to address the trainee than to continue with my order. While I understand the importance of training new staff members, I found the manner in which this was handled to be utterly unprofessional. Proper training should not come at the expense of customer service.
After the brief, yet jarring, interruption, I proceeded to finish placing my order. The presentation of the food was visually appealing. Nevertheless, the incident with the staff member had already left a sour taste in my mouth.
In conclusion, my experience at Bali Food & Drinks was marred by poor service and an inconsiderate interruption. I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant, as the overall dining experience was less than satisfactory. I hope that the management takes this feedback to heart and ensures that future patrons do not suffer a similar fate. The experience and ambiance bear no...
Read moreI actually forgot to take pictures as I was more focused on the youngsters. We had the vegan options like the fruit plate, the mango & cacao mousse. My friends and I were aiming for some vegan cake and ice cream and eventually they just do vegan cakes when ppl order in advance. They have plenty of smoothies, they have tarts, crĂȘpes nice warm drinks, and fresh fruity drinks. We had orange juice and almond cappuccino. The atmosphere is just perfect for my personal taste. Because it's so good it's better to reserve table in advance as it gets full pretty easy and long wait for a table. The aim was to have lunch there but we forgot to book table and when we got there it was full, so we just went for dessert grw hours later. Hope you get the chance to experience this...
