I give it 1 star because I can't give it any less. Please do NOT ever order food in this place. Everything was wrong: We ordered two menu but only one came. We called to report the issue and they told us the other menu would be here in 10 minutes. After waiting for 45 minutes we called again: it didn't arrived. They even LIED to us saying the delivery service queue was full and that we didn't have an order (even tho it was still open on the Globo App). After the second call they didn't give us our money back since they claimed the order arrived and implied we were lying. Luckily we ordered though Globo and got our money back, but if we had ordered through their website we would have never got that money back.
The food wasn't good either. It wasn't bad tasting but the one menu that did arrive was very cold. The chips were so cold they tasted like overnight chips. And to top it, on the menu it said the burguer had bacon on it but it didn't have it when it arrived. I don't usually complain about this things because it's take away food however everything was so awful it's worth mentioning.
To make it even worse they only speak Portuguese so we couldn't even comunicate properly and they played dumb when we complained about the problems we had. Again, I don't usually care about this because we're the tourists but this made the situation even worse.
This is the only bad experience we've had in our whole trip and the only rude people we've met on our trip.
Again, please...
Read moreIf you’re staying at the (quite nice) Lisbon Marriott Hotel, you need to know about A-100. Just a three-minute walk away for an excellent selection of high-quality burgers at a competitive price, and they’re open until 23:00 (11:00 PM). But there are two more things you need to know: This location is take-away (take-out) only. Second, you may experience understandable apprehension about finding them (I saved that for last). Google Maps will take you the long way, as if you are driving there, even if you specify walking. Here's the way to go: Leaving the Marriott, walk down the driveway to your right to reach the sidewalk. You’ll see A-100’s lighted sign facing Av. Dos Combatants on the outside of the building just next door. Just beyond the sign is a wide and uninviting concrete stairway to climb (careful, crumbling too). Once you’re at the top of the stairs, it’s time to go down stairs and make a couple of sharp right turns. You may still be unsure if you’ve found it. Remember, this is a take-away restaurant. No seating. No tables. No atmosphere. Just rows of big white bags of hamburger goodness awaiting pick-up. Just a burger should start at 8,95 euros, more with additional toppings, and even more as a combo. I thought it was an outstanding burger. Or the Marriott has a very nice hamburger on their menu for 24 euros that includes very good and well-meaning service, a nice view, a table, chairs…well, you...
Read moreHello, for anyone wondering if they should eat here: do yourself a favor and DON'T.
After ordering two menus and having only one arrived, we called the restaurant and they told us the last one would arrive in 10 minutes.
We waited for over 45 minutes and after calling the manager said 'the delivery was done, sorry' and there was NO MORE INFO OR HELP. They can't even talk english or any other language apart from portuguese, so if you are a turist don't come here, they will not be able to understand what you say.
Apart from that, the burger that arrived should have had bacon but it didn't either. French fries were also very cold.
Thankfully Glovo refunded the menu that didn't arrive, but the service from this restaurant is AWFUL.
Again, do yourself a favor and order/eat somewhere else if you read this review, worst experience in Lisbon we...
