Ali Baba Kebab Haus — Restaurant in Lisbon

First of all…this place STAYED BUSY! That’s a good thing in my book. With all the local restaurants in this area, there was a consistent flow of ppl in and out. Not as many dine-in patrons, but it’s definitely a grab and go spot for tasty food FAST!

I went for the Falafel Menu which came with perfectly crispy falafels, a side salad, fries and a drink. I paid €7 (equivalent of $8 USD) let’s just say it was worth every bite. Here are my loves 😊 and no likes 😑

😑Unfortunately, they only take Portuguese CC so either have euro or a local bank/debit card. (I actually find a lot of local spots don’t take international visa/mc you almost have to walk w/ euro.

😊Food was fast and yummy. I was thoroughly satisfied. I love that the falafels were tasty by themselves but tha sauceeee! So good!

😑 it’s so busy that it makes it a bit tough to enjoy ur food inside w/ the constant passing of ppl. I don’t mind it tho. Next time I may grab it to go like many others do.

Being from Indian background I can say that the guys working there they judge you! When you go and order food they pretend to be Mr Know all but after they understand that the person is living here from long time they take a step back. Worst service ever! Asked for fork and knife they pulled up a dirty one and tried to wipe with tissue and serve me. Kebab Prato: I should call it RUBBER PRATO Kebab was not hot at all. I have requested to put all sauce and salad but it was hard to find any taste of the sauce. The shop is on top of Morais Soares while going toward Praca Paiva Couceiro. When asked those Indian brothers why are they doing like this, they blame it to their boss. Which I think is a lie. Mr owner please take care of your staffs their attitude is just not right! Worst experience ever. The manager or owner should take care of his staffs. Don’t speak English or Portuguese. They started the conversation in a language I don’t speak when I explained him the guy in the counter got angry and treated me and my friends very bad. Than the other guy who made our order also started the conversation in a language I don’t know which it was. The food was very bad. French fries were cold and the box was full of wet salad.
