Dinner for three, me and two friends. Welcome at arrival was fine, we got gently cleaned the table we asked for very quickly. The place is quite spartan but the food quality is great, any smell and any taste is authentic, they do not put any salt on potatoes tho. The soup was probably best part of the meal, the clams delicious and fresh, meat and chicken cooked perfectly and also the rice and salad were on point. They also do good dessert, we tried Rice Pudding and a chocolate mousse, both tasting delicious. Sad note is the rudeness of one of the two waiters who served us, since our entrance he just acted distant and unpolite, like he didn’t want to be there or us to be there. The other one was calm and gentle, rewarded by a deserved tip. I would eat there again definitely because the quality you get for that price is a bargain, but note to management, if you want people to come back you have to make them...

Tip: GET THE CHICKEN! This restaurant had a long line of locals waiting to get takeout, so we knew it would be yummy. But still, we were blown away with this food. Because we were traveling with kids, we opted to skip wrestling with them at a table and go for takeout. When we got to our AirBNB to eat, thought we'd died and gone to heaven, the food (especially the chicken!) was so amazing. Tip: this place doesn't have any English menus. So you can either bring a translating app, or get wild and crazy (like we did) and just randomly order items off the menu. Either way, you...

Found this little gem nearby where we stayed. The place is small and cozy, was attracted by the seafood displayed at the window. When we ordered steak and salmon, the staff took it from there, and it's fresh! Affordable price for such a generous portion. The pudding was little different from the Japanese style puddings, they taste good too. One thing we dint know is that they do charge for the bread and butter, i hope i was told hehe. The service was great too, the waiter was so helpful when we couldnt read portugese. Overall excellent place, would definitely...

Good portion considering how much you paid. For under 2 euro you get a big bowl of traditional Portuguese soup, 3 euro for a generous 1/2 portion and well seasoned side salad, and just above 10 euro for a half of grilled chicken. They also offer a wide selection of other grilled dishes such as fish and other cuts. One waiter is extremely sweet but another looks so grumpy. I still enjoy my food but the training of the waiters can be improved.
