TL;DR - give their drinks a chance, don’t go there for the food or vibe.

I was looking for an alternative to Starbucks in terms of iced lattes etc, the kind that you generally don’t find in Europe. And in that regard, I think this may be a winner because their menu looks promising. Unfortunately I was pressed for time, and was only able to try out the salted caramel latte which, with some luck, you can get at a few Portuguese cafes. The SC latte was good, and I was asked if I’d like a different milk, which is good too. However, that is where it ends. I shared a croissant mista and a slice of the chocolate cake with my friend. The croissant was alright, but the cake was somehow very sweet, and bland, at the same time. But what I really found strange is that the server wouldn’t come out from behind the bar at all. I had to get up from my seat 4 times to collect the food, then to pass back the croissant so it could be heated, then to get it back, then because it became apparent to the server that we’d need more than 1 plate between the 2 of us. I’m not sure why they didn’t come to us, and I haven’t experienced this in any other cafe. It’s a different thing if you’re standing at the bar, or if it’s a fast food restaurant, but this was not the case.

Also, the coffee is served in takeaway cups even if you’re dining in, which I found strange as well.

Having said all of this, I will give it another go to try out their fancier offerings, and it won’t...

I was looking for an alternative to the crowded Starbucks and I believe I found my next coffee place. Yes, it is not perfect (small space, not many places to sit, I'd find uncomfortable and rude to go there, sit alone with my laptop or phone while sipping of my coffee for an hour), but the positives make up for it. First, the prices are very welcoming and the selection of drinks is very interesting. I tried my first iced pumpkin spice latte and it was delicious. They only have oat milk as an alternative for dairy (I believe it was Alpro Oat) and the upcharge was 0.20€, not bad. The lady that took and made my order was very nice, she asked me if I wanted whipped cream on my drink. They had sugar, sweetener, spoons and paper straws on the counter, in case you need it. You can also...

Nice place to seat for a coffee or a cake. Variety of coffees and sweets. Unfortunately no ice cream. The service is pleasant and there are comfortable tables to seat and work if necessary. There’s also available free WiFi for the customers.
