It is always pleasent to understand that new and wonderful places are opening all over Lisbon and this is one them. What a good surprise it was to discover this spot.
When looking for a new place to have a brunch I came across with this recomendation and decided to try. And sometimes the bet turns into victory! What a simple but so nice place to have a breakfast or a brunch.
The quality of the food it is in general at a very good level, with fresh ingridients and different aproaches to some of the more traditional breakfast places.
Most part of the things are home made from scratch over there and they are gluten free, witch is always a good detail and a plus for some people that have food restrictions.
It could be strange in the beginning to have contact with some of the flavours, mainly because they tend to use natural ingredients to cook. As an example here you will not find refined sugar but mainly a natural coconut sugar. But aftet a while your palate will adapt and adjust and you will be so amazed with most part of what you will eat.
But because not all is gold you have two main chalenges in this place: first to park if you decide to go by car (big mistake and not necessary since it is close to the tube station of Roma). The second challenge is to get an available table...the space is small...sometimes to small for the amount of hungry costumers that are trying to go there...
In my point of view an investment in a wider range of plates could also be a good idea...mainly because a client that would like to go for a second experience might be faced with the need to repeat...the ingridients combination might be different but the plates base structure will...

Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to try any because my order never arrived. 30 minutes after placing the order, I approached the staff to find out what was going on because customers who arrived after me received their food long before me.. I was told that there were technical problems when placing my order, which is why my food wasn't ready. No sorry, nothing, like it was my fault. I asked if I could then receive the juice and cake that I ordered long time ago since it was just lying in the fridge next to them. In response, I was told that it was possible but I would have to wait until all the other customers were served first. Seriously? It was an embarrassing and ridiculous situation. No apologies whatsoever. The staff saw that I was sitting at an empty table for 30 minutes and no one bothered to address this fact. In the end I never got what I ordered. Very disappointed with this place on the last day of visiting...
Read moreBe careful they advertise that everything is gluten free but it's NOT! My Mom has coeliac disease and a few hours after eating there she was feeling very unwell. She didn't eat anything else or anywhere else that day, so we are 100% sure that the coeliac flare-up she got is from this place.
Reply to Denspensa N.6 message: As my Mom and I were vistiting Lissabon and traveld back home the same day we ate at your establishment, we were not able to get in touch directly with you, thats why I wrote a review online. And yes we can be 100% sure that her coeliac flare-up was from your establishment, because the flare-up happend a few hours after we ate at your establishment. The day before she only ate salad, eggs and grilled fish, (so no gluten). Also she didn't eat anything else the day that her flare-up happend except for the food from your establishment, so yes we are 100% certain the coeliac flare-up has to be from your...
