French Arth — Restaurant in Lisbon

I really try not to leave negative reviews but our experience was not great. The server was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. The issue was not a lack of effort. The red wine we had was tasty but overpriced at $36, for the level of age and flavor. We ordered the ribeye steak for two. It was perfectly cooked to order, rare, but lacked flavor. This indicated to me that it was not fresh and/or not from a good butcher. A little more salt and better during grilling would go a long way. The prawns we had were also either not fresh or stored improperly, not cleaned well, and not well prepared. They had saltwater remaining in them and were larger, which meant they were also grainy. A great little French spot in the middle of Lissabon! It was a very quiet Wednesday evening that we walked around the area and one of the guests (very nice lady!) Insisted that we must try it! We already had some drinks and bites but could share some food and the lady suggested the Dorade and we where very happy she did! Amazing and with the leek and veggies a great way to end our day. Came by for dinner and had the goat cheese salad and salmon tartar. I ordered the one glass of red French wine, a Côtes du Rhône. They had no idea what it was until I showed it to them on the menu.

The salad came with melted cheese on spaghetti bread. Immediately after taking a few bites of the salmon tartar I'm second guessing if I'll be sick tomorrow.
