Il Giardinetto — Restaurant in Lisbon

The best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. As tourists, we didn’t really know where to get tasty food, since usually, the typical “tourist restaurants” are rather expensive and of lower quality (in my opinion). So we looked for an Italian restaurant (google) and looked at the reviews. It was quite far away from us, so we took the metro through the whole city and it was worth every step and every second. I ate the Ravioli d’Alba (homemade fresh pasta stuffed with curd cheese and spinach, sautéed with cream and truffle cream sauce) and a Tiramisu. However, I must admit that I could have eaten a few more Ravioli (and I usually don’t eat too much), but I ate the rest of my friend’s (wood oven) pizza, which was delicious as well. What a surprise and great find. You just never know with an Italian restaurant... could be "meh" or could be great. This was definitely the latter. Antipasto platter for two was delicious and super generous. Both our pastas we're incredible. Husband had the Linguine Al Forma with porcini and truffle oil. Prepared table side and tossed in a huge wheel of parmegiano...truffle fragrance floated throughout and Drew attention...but it wasn't just for show. Indescribably delicious! My tagliatelle with porcini, tomatoes and basil. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly Al dente. With the very generous portions we had to pass in dessert, but we're offered complimentary limoncello. Ontem dirigi-me a este restaurante para almoçar e fiquei a aguardar na entrada junto as ementas pelo funcionário para puder ser atendida passaram imensos funcionários por mim durante os 5/10m que estive ali especada até que apareceram 3 senhores clientes 1 deles entrou por lá a dentro e falou com a funcionária que lhe deu a última mesa enquanto os outros 2 falaram comigo e disseram que tinha de esperar mais a frente e inclusive disseram ao outro senhor que ja se tinha sentado que eu e o meu namorado estávamos primeiro mas como o outro senhor ja estava sentado e a pedir eu disse que não havia problema para eles se sentarem. E continuava sem ser abordada por nenhum dos funcionários e ali estava eu especada agora entre a esplanada e o interior sem ser abordada por nenhum funcionário dos tantos que passaram por mim a correr porque no sitio onde seria para aguardar atrapalhamos o serviço e correndo o risco de levar com algum encontrão ou pior deixarem me cair algo em cima porque tive de me desviar varias vezes isto tudo estando eu gravida de 9 meses . Tive de ser eu a abordar o funcionário já um pouco irritada depois de tanto esperar que alguem se dirigisse a mim e o funcionário foi tudo menos simpático e me disse que nao tinha mesas e tinha de esperar e eu argumentei que estava ali a espera a imenso tempo e ninguem se dirigiu a mim e os senhores entraram e ficaram com a ultima mesa e ao qual ele me responde que era uma reserva quando eu pelo discurso dos outros 2 senhores percebi claramente que não o que me deixou mais indignada e vim me embora . Nao teria tido qualquer problema em aguardar uma mesa se tivesse m tido outro tipo de atendimento mas fui ignorada e ainda foram rudes e sem empatia....
